Loved the beautiful "Bishops house" at the top to Vaison-la-Romaine. Many types of rooms to chose from so be sure to ask. Some are almost apartments. Lovely decor with library area reserved for guests to enjoy. We were with 10 friends and lots of places to gather. Amazing, delicious breakfast on the outdoor patio. Many good restaurants nearby and also... More

What more can be said to praise this lovely place, the home of cultured, charming people? Jean- Loup and Aude also happen to present a large and delicious breakfast buffet and are happy to assist with restaurant and travel recommendations. No need to mention again that the common rooms are filled with books and art, handsomely arranged. Just go, if... More

Formally the Bishop's residence, this historical landmark now serves as a quaint B&B. The old medieval town is very charming and only a few minutes walk to the more modern part of Vaison-La-Romaine were there are a variety of shops and grocery stores. The old town is built on a hill as are all the medieval villages, which only adds... More

Wow was this a tricky place to find. We arrived on bicycles after a 50 Mile journey from Avignon... Walked right past the entrance. The rooms were charming, watch your self on the steps to your room! Breakfast delicious and our hosts wonderful. Enough electrical outlets to charge all our devices is always a problem but with my new 4... More

We spent two fabulous nights at L'Eveche. This charming B&B is located in the older medieval part of the town, making it quite an uphill walk, but believe me, well worth the effort. Aude and Jean Loup are caring and gracious hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Our suite was wonderful, and like the rest of inn full of... More

If you are spending any time in Vaison, I suggest L'Eveche. The setting is truly Provincial, the views fabulous and the hosts are tremendous. You park a few 100 metres away so this isn't for everyone but if you can walk a bit uphill it is worth it. The hotel is near the base of the old castle in a... More

If you can manage to drive up the narrow windy hill it is worth it. We were made very welcome in this atmospheric building. Every wall is covered with pictures and books and there are a lot of beautiful objects around. There is a lovely terrace for breakfast. Our bathroom was modern and very clean. It is a dark building... More

Spent 4 nights in early June and had a wonderful time. Aude and Jean Loup were gracious hosts and the property did not disappoint. The town is lovely, all of the recommendations were spot on. Only recommendation would be to get an espresso machine for breakfast. Missed having my morning jolt. Other than that a perfect stay in a beautiful... More

I am just back from a trip to Provence, where I spent three nights in this gem of a B&B in an as yet undiscovered medieval village, with narrow cobbled streets and very few tourists. M. and Mme. Verdier are the most gracious hosts, providing a wonderful, leisurely breakfast on their beautiful, secluded terrace with a view, and wonderful recommendations... More

This former home of a Bishop in the medieval city of Vaison-la-Romaine is delightful! Aude & JeanLoup are charming and helpful host & hostess while you stay in their home in the heart of this very old little city. They provide a very nice breakfast in a beautiful setting and treat you like royalty! We needed to communicate with EuropCar... More
