The reviews on this site said such great things about this property I jumped at the opportunity to reserve a room during my work trip to Nice with some vacation time in Provence. Unfortunately, I was detained in Nice and could not travel to Vaison-la-Romaine to honor my visit. I immediately notified the owners of my situation and they graciously... More

This place was lovely even thought our trip had unusual raw wet weather (think 35F and rainy sideways when it had been 65 the week before) in ?November. Things mattered that would not have been important in usual conditions: heat and good wifi:) We spent much more time indoors than normal: one day we had breakfast, went to the market... More

What a little gem! Encouraged by the great reviews on TA we booked four nights here - and were not disappointed! The welcome from Laurent was warm and helpful. We had not made any reservations at a local restaurant, wanting to see whether our hosts could recommend anywhere. They did; and it took about 10 minutes walk to get there... More

Despite arriving in low season, my two friends and I got the last room in the place. Anne didn't blink about squeezing a mattress into the room to accommodate all of us--and served us a lovely breakfast the next morning--for the same price as a room for two. Perhaps her generosity was partly due to the fact that a loveseat... More

My husband and I spent three nights in this beautiful BnB in Vaison-la-Romaine and it ended up being the highlight of our 2.5 week trip visiting Germany and south of France. We arrived later than we had anticipated and in the dark, but received a warm welcome from host Laurent. Waking up in the morning was simply breathtaking, a beautiful... More

Great value, well maintained and charming rooms, a large outdoor patio, a wine cellar with good but inexpensive wines, terrific views, beautiful grounds (with cats, a dog and chickens among the olive trees) and a great breakfast--what more could you ask for? Six of us (3 couples) stayed for a night in early November while walking in Provence and we... More

More like 4.5 stars - this is a truly beautiful and very reasonably-priced B & B in a perfect location for exploring in and around Vaison-la-Romaine. It's owned by Anne and Laurent, a gracious young couple with 2 children, and the property used to belong to Anne's grandparents. The view from the place is spectacular, with olive trees on the... This B & B is in an ideal location within walking distance to everything. The couple who run it are very helpful. Rooms are large and well equipped. Breakfast is substantial. They have maps. with suggested drives and restaurants as well. We spent 2 nights and very enjoyable. Rates were very reasonable for quality of rooms and central location

We stayed here for a few days and used it for a base to tour the countryside of Provence. The rooms are large, pleasant, and fairly large (especially for a gite). A continental breakfast is included. Make sure that you go to the town fair on Tuesdays. The local restaurants are adequate, but not exceptional.

We just spent eight days here and were satisfied with our choice. Indeed, as everyone says Laurent and Anne are gracious hosts. We especially enjoyed breakfast outside with the croissants and home made jam. Our room was large and had great views. We would have wished for a handyman to repair the shower attachment and to replace the five burned... More
