This is an old farmhouse located in the middle of an olive tree grove. Vaison la Romaine has the largest Roman archeological site in France and the B&B is located directly next to it. The really charming little village is only a 5-minute walk away, with the medieval part of town located on the hill above. All is within easy... More

Perfect combination of pastoral setting and convenience to a pleasant mid-size town. Views from the patio are fantastic and the ambiance is very peaceful. Exploring the upper city was one of the highlights of our vacation.

Anne was a delightful host - very happy to speak English and very complimentary of my rudimentary command of French. The room was very comfortable, with a view of the olive grove and old chateau. The breakfast was very generous , fresh and tasty. I didn't avail myself of the local wines, but think this is a great idea! Very... More

This was my favorite bed and breakfast place we stayed in during our three week vacation in France. I wish we could have stayed much longer. It is in a perfect location. You feel like you are staying in the country yet you are only a 5 minute walk from town. Anne and her husband were very nice and helpful.... More

I cannot say much that has not already been said but this place was wonderful. I spent hours sitting on the terrace with chickens running around while enjoying the beautiful weather and lovely setting. The hosts were so sweet. An amazing place to stay especially when you factor in the price.

Rooms are comfortable with king sizes beds. The location was great and walkable to the old town. Breakfast was wonderful with yogurts, pastries and homemade jams. You have access to the kitchen if you want to cook your own meal. There is also wine available to purchase (at very reasonable prices) on the honour system. We had two nights there... More

We stayed at this idyllic bed and breakfast for two nights in July. Vaison-la-Romaine is a beautiful town, and Les tilleuls d'Elisee is the perfect place to unwind on your vacation. It’s located on a quiet road within walking distance to the town center. The ground is large, peaceful and has a spectacular view of the château. We stayed in... More

Stayed here with 3 friends on a bike trip for the second time in 5 years. We shared the family suite, 2 bedrooms with one bath. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The host was very helpful with bike storage, restaurant advice (La Lyriste, separate review) and accommodating one guest's gluten-free request. The location is far enough from the centre... More

The perfect place to unwind into being on holiday. Warmly welcoming hosts Anne and Laurent, pretty provencal bedrooms with a large, beautiful breakfast room and delightful grounds to enjoy at leisure. A short walk in to Vaison, but it was just as inviting to hang out in the grounds and we appreciated using the kitchen to prepare picnics rather than... More

The hubby and I stayed for a long weekend in June. We could have happily remained on the property for the entire time, but we would have missed the wonderful town of Vaison la Romaine. Our host and hostess were as charming and accommodating as they could be. A variety of wines were available for purchase, and we spent a... More
