If it is the type of modern, fully airconditioned hotel you are looking for, drive by. However should you , like we , be appreciating the typical charm of a more traditional small town hotel where the paintbrush isn't used every year , stay here. Rooms may not be oversized, but you have a good bed and everything else you... More

I stopped in here at night, looking for a place to sleep. Was the first one that had a room at a decent price. The room was a bit small but ok and it was clean. The bed was soft and comfy, bathroom was clean as well. The shower in the morning was small but it was a nice shower... More

A very pleasant welcome to this hotel. We requested a quiet room and were given one. Our room was clean and comfortable, but it is an old hotel. We had a nice meal in their restaurant and it was very professionally served.

I spent 5 days in this hotel while visiting family in Sisteron. It is located right in the heart of the town close to the old town and other tourist spots as well as shops and restaurants. The room was comfortable although a bit small. The shower was tiny but plenty of hot water, and fresh towels everyday. Restaurant is... More

I stopped in Sisteron on my way from Grenoble to Aix en Provence on the 16th of July 2012. I had never been to Sisteron but knew the name. I was not disappointed as the old town of Sisteron is a little Provencal gem nest on the side of the Durance river at the edge of the French Alps. I... More

..it's not very good. That is not the case with this hotel. It is a big hotel, with a large restaurant and sidewalk cafe, but the staff tries for an air of elegance, and they mostly succeed. The entry and lobby have an old world feel, but in a comfortable kind of way. The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable, although... More

Friendly welcome by, we presume the owner. During our stay this lady had always a friendly word. She knew that we understood French but not perfectly so she talked a bit slower. The room was small, as was the bathroom. We had a room at the front so early in the morning we heard people talking, delivery vans eg. the... More

Simple Hotel in the French Province that barely should make the 3 stars. TVs in rooms are okay no international channels. Very small rooms, most of the towards the busy street (single glass windows). Very very small bathrooms, very old fashioned. On top of rooms 12-17 is a massive generator of some sort running making the bathrooms vibrate. Beds are... More

We were send here by the nearby Ibis hotel that we booked but due to an error in the reservation system was over booked. The hotel promised a room with airco but when we arrived it had none. Then we asked the manager for a room with airco, and he very rudely said that we could go if we were... More

Why do the French like to go to the type of restaurants that have a maitre D (female in this case) who looks down their noses at you ! this is certainly one of them. I had an entrecote steak, thin, extremely fatty tasting, smothered in butter and overpriced, You know French Traditional Cooking! Breakfast was sidestepped, 10Euros, Eggs and ham extra!... More
