This is a return trip this year we decided to stay an extra day and explore a bit more. ike hire was organised very quickly and the advice on a route to take whilst travelling to inland provence was excellant. Breakfast was as usual great espescially when Cooper was around.

We only stayed a night. But what an experience! We took the horse ride in the afternoon on their property with Geraldine, she sure knows how to talk to those horses! (we had a wonderful ridding in the afternoon) and then we were able to have dinner in their restaurant (even if they were overbooked!) Well! the CHEF,Fred Pelletier is... More

We stayed at le Mas de Calabrun two weeks ago on an inexpensive Groupon offer and spent a most enjoyable two days, which definitely exceeded our expectations. Although you are just a few minutes from Saint Mairie de la Mer , you have a real sense of being in the countryside. The setting is delightful , with white horses in... More

I spent three nights at this hotel as part of a photographic workshop organised by Tim Mannakee in the Camargue. The "motel"-style accommodation was spacious, clean, comfortable and adequate in every respect. The real highlight, though, was the dinner each evening which really exceeded expectations. An ideal situation for photographing the white horses and black bulls of the Camargue.

We have had the good fortune to stay in this Hotel twice during the Pilgrimage of St.Sarah in May, it is without doubt one of the best in the area, the Staff are friendly helpful and polite. The rooms are a real treat and reflect the beauty of the Camargue, breakfast has plenty of choice and is well presented, Dinner... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 night stay here last week whilst on a photography workshop with the beautiful Camargue horses. The staff were very pleasant, particularly Samantha, and the food was of a very high standard. The squid ink risotto at dinner was particularly delicious, and the desserts - wow! A great selection of foods were provided for breakfast. My... More

I loved this place. No, you won't find marble bathrooms with gold taps, nor sheets with a thread count fine enough to satisfy Beyoncé. You will find simple rooms, good food, nice wines, and unpretentious but charming feel, a lovely pool - and best of all, swallows flying in and out of their nests feeding their young. There are great... More

The hotel has a very large parking which is very good however the rooms are not so clean with litle windows and dark the chaise-longue are not good and of bad quality. Coming to the cleanness of the hotel oh my god i think they need help from the municipality. The staff are good but they lack some professionalism. There... More

Thank you for giving your opinion about our hotel. We are very worried about what you said, as the cleaness and comfort are some of the assets that are almost always put forward by our clients in their comments.... The chaise longue are brand new and from a spanish designer. Concerning the restaurant, we have a lunch menu and a... More

Only stayed one night and were a bit apprehensive given its 3 star rating but we were very pleasantly surprised, the room overlooking the stream was excellent with the horses grazing outside our terrace. The food was quite exceptional especially dinner which was of a truly high standard. Saint Maries de la Mer and the surrounding Camargue countryside was well... More

Thoroughly recommended. Very professionally run, food is particularly good and staff are very helpful. Great location and 10 mins from st.marie de mere which is a must-see. We were given an upgrade to one of the charming new caravans which was lovely. Wifi is a bit hit and miss but we really didn't care!
