We chose this hotel randomly on Tripadvisor, as we were looking for a romantic getaway for our anniversary. We spent 4 nights in a superior double room(19). Upon arrival, we were greeted very warmly and escorted to our room which, I must say, truly exceeded our expectations. The hotel owner clearly does this as a passion, because you can immediately... When you arrive at La Tramontane you are welcomed as being part of the family. You get a tour around the grounds and you get your room. I had room nr 4, and I wasnt dissapointed, the room was exactly like in the pictures, kitch but it fits in the overall look and feel of the hotel. All the rooms... More

La Tramontane is your wonderful home-away-from-home. The staff is a unique mixture of professional & friendly. The rooms are good, the pool area is fantastic, the breakfast/dinner room is faboulous, and the food is marvellous. Madame (the owner) is ever-present, ever-cheerful, always at your service, always nice. The staff is very knowledgeable about everything this wonderful area, Le Camargue, has... More

We visited the Camargue and chose to stay in this small hotel outside of the hustle and bustle of the downtown. Everyone associated with the hotel was extremely kind and very helpful. The pictures on their website are very representative of the property. It is this beautiful oasis of tranquility away from the activity in the village. There is something... More

Some 3 Klms from Saintes Marie's on the Arles road, lots of horses around in the fields but we saw no Flamingos at all. But the hotel and the rooms were more of a motel style built round a central swimming pool and natural pond. My reaction was Mosquitos! But they do have tight fitting screen doors that can be... Very nice hotel close to the village. My room lead straight on to the pool terrace. Quirky but interesting interior. I didnt use the restaurant but it looked onto the pool.Would stay again. Buffet style breakfast was 15 euros.

My birthday treat! And what a treat it was. Three nights in a beautifully decorated room, comfortable bed with crisp white cotton sheets. Our own terrace overlooking the pond and swimming pool. Breakfast is copious and delicious. We were lucky enough to arrive on 1 May when the restaurant opened and the food was a delightful surprise of local and... More
