We spent 6 nights at the Chalets de la Meije in July 2014with another couple, and had a really good experience. In fact, the couple we were travelling with were returning and the owners remembered them when we arrived which was a lovely touch! The location is great - right in La Grave which is a lovely town. Lots of... More

The acomodation was a let down. Rooms were not cleaned regularly - nor were the towels changed all week. The communal area toilets were dirty and there were no hand towels for three days running. Dirty cups and mugs were often left lying around. A disappointing accomodation largley due to the unprofesionalism and lazyness of the staff.

We stayed at Chalethotel Meije for some day skiing in march. The skiing was fantastic - great snow and a great mix of weather. The location of the Chalet is central and excellent for access to the slopes and nightlife. The acomodation was a let down. We diverted over the mountains on our way to the South and could not have been happier with our stay. We enjoyed a ground floor suite comprising a lovely living/dining area, a small kitchenette and a separate en-suite bedroom. There was also a nice outside terrace to sit and enjoy the magnificent view. Good parking facilities and an excellent buffet... More

We found the Chalets by chance some years ago and keep returning there - the appartments are beautiful, well equipped and clearn, spacious and with a homely+warm atmosphere. The hosts of the Chalets are very friendly and helpful, and the views from the Chalets are just amazing.

We stayed in La Grave for eight nights as the base for day hikes. The hotel was ideal. The manager(s) and team were very welcoming; the continental style buffet breakfast (inside or on the terrace) was excellent; and our room, with balcony and view of la Meije, was clean, very comfortable and attentively serviced. In the end we didn't use... More

Loved our 4 night stay in hotel-apartment number 7. Beds were comfortable, radiant in floor heat was running, full size dishwasher, nice bathtub. Kitchen is tiny but functional. Kids slept very well on canape-lit - room for 4 in the living room, and 2 in the bedroom. Great place to come home to after a day of hiking and dining.... More

Very satisfied by our stay in the Chalets de la Meije at the beginning of April 2012. The rooms are comfortable, tidy and well equiped (TV, Wifi, oven, microwave, etc). Moreover the appartment in the chalet was spacious and quiet. Our room had a beautifull view on the mountains with a large terrace. The place has a welcoming family feel.... More

La Grave is a beautiful place but the manager of the Chalets managed tarnish our vacation. The website shows beautiful pool, suites with kitchens and a utopia in the alps. We experience a locked metal door over the kitchen only opened if we agreed to pay 16 euros a day. the outside hottub was not heated only a small inside... More

This review is a lie totally invented by somedy who might not be here in reality. It's easy to undestand confusion with hottub warmed 37 °C ( indoor only) & free acces to outdoor swimming pools heated 25-27 °C. Outside there is no Hottub as mentionned here !! For a hepl we never refuse & do not really undestand what... More

Location is excellent for hiking and cycling.
