I think everyone has already covered why this place is so special. Perfect location, great value, nice food. But what makes it really a step above is the people. Quite simply some of the nicest people we've ever met. From the warmest of welcomes to the constant smiles, nothing was too much trouble. And i can say that having had... More

We stayed here for one night on our way to Nice and were so pleased that we did. Lovely, if somewhat noisy, position on a charming cobbled road two streets back from the sea front - clean, comfortable rooms with a quirky, alley lined view of the sea. Comfortable beds and decent sheets and a modern bathroom with typically weedy... More

We stayed here for three nights last week, This place is fantastic! We had two double rooms (1&9) being the better rooms I think. Both were decent sizes with modern bathrooms and nice views of the town. We ate in the restaurant three times, even returning to dine a few days later. The food was great, excellent value, friendly staff.... More

Having eaten in the restaurant a few times and needing a stopover in town, we booked the last room available (without toilet). The staff were welcoming, the room simple, but lovely decor and with a fab view out to the port. It had a shower/sink and the WC was just across the landing. Perfect for one night stay; with thin... Tomas was very helpful & welcoming. the rooms are quite small but not being there exc to sleep it... More

A lovely place with spacious rooms, nicely decorated and with lovely linen. Great location though hard to find - do not rely on GPS like us and make sure you have a zoomed in printed map. The only other downside is that because the location is on a busy restaurant street we needed to close the windows and shutters to... More

Having spent a week in Southern France this hotel and restaurant were a refreshing find for value. Le Lavandou is a charming place and the hotel was just one street back from the front. Our room could see the sea and was clean and simple. Bathroom/shower was very good with plenty of hot water and good white towels. The restaurant... More

One of the best things about this hotel is it's location - right in the middle of the Le Lavandou village so walking distance to everything, and 2 mins walk from the beach. The hotel itself still contains a lot of character. Rooms are not large but are quite charming and are sufficiently furnished - you spend all your time... More

We were lucky enough to find this charming small hotel as we cycled Southern France. The owner/chef speaks perfect English and took a tremendous amount of time with us to ensure our stay and our meals were outstanding. The restaurant is a local favorite, so be sure you have reservations! Thomas went out of his way to create vegetarian spinoffs... More

Found by accident as we walked by. Stayed 3 nights and loved the ambience and character of the hotel. The restaurant has to be the best in the area and was full each night we were there. We would rate it the best meal in our 6 week visit to the Riviera and a must to have at least one... More
