Cassis is an affordable port town visited by mostly French on holiday, with only a few Americans around. Speaking our baby French, we had a blast eating fresh fish in the cafes and learning to drink iced Rose` wine in the warm afternoons and getting into Congac to top off our dinner at night. We selected the charming Hotel Le... More

Our room at the hotel was smaller than average but it had a nice little balcony big enough for one person to sit comfortably. The room was clean, the bed was a bit smallish for someone over 1.85m. The hotel lies at the harbour, and it is about 5 minutes to walk to the other side where you can find... More

Very good location. Great view on Marine Bay. For the rest I would say I'll give 2-3*** out of 10..... Please be ready to carry your suitcase by yourself to the room as there no elevator!!! The lady at reception was very friendly (can't say about the rest citizens in France...) , though she didn't speak English we managed to... More

We stayed at this hotel in early September and asked for a room with a view of the water. We loved sitting on the small terrace with a glass of wine watching the sun set and the village come alive with lights and activity. There is a wonderful castle in the hills that is illuminated at night and it is... More

Our rooms at this hotel were small, had not been updated in decades and the linens were small and scratchy. It was shocking to me that a lovely town like Cassis would have such a hotel that was so out of date and expensive. The saving grace was a very small balcony that looked out over the absolutely gorgeous bay... More

Small room, sparse furniture and a rude receptionnist, but the view over the port made up for all of that! Our room on the second floor was indeed very small, as the bed was against the wall on one side and left perhaps three feet on the other, but it was clean, and in any event you are not in... More

Don't be fooled by the view. This place smells so bad, we had to find another room in town. The receptionist was very rude. Plenty of other options in this beautiful town. Don't stay at Hotel Le Golfe.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. After an unfortunate beginning with a rude receptionist, the manageress took over and she was helpful and lovely, thank goodness. The room was simple and the door was difficult to close without slamming it, but it was clean, and the view!! just gorgeous, over the harbour and cliffs opposite, and the small balcony... More

This is a simple hotel in a great town. It doesn't have an elevator (only two floors high but for some people could be an inconvenience), it doesn't have internet, and no room service or anything fancy but the rooms that view the harbor have some kind of view!!!. We had a room with two twin beds (called it family... More

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. Perfectly situated on the quiet side of the harbour. Our room was very basic but adequate and clean. The air con was brilliant! We found the staff to be very helpful. We parked our car in the multi storey which was close to the hotel at a cost of 10 euros a... More
