If you're looking to go to the french riviera, make a point of going to cassis, which is really stunning. the staff at this hotel were great, and one person pointed me in the direction of a hike to these incredible inlet/rock formations that are like nothing I've seen. You can walk about twenty minutes from the hotel through a... more

Stayed here for two nights at the end of June. The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes stroll down to the waterfront at Cassis. Our room small and pokey, with very little room around the bed. The bathroom was sparce, worn towels and no shampoo etc. Very basic! The lounge and pool are nice, with a... more

Our stay at Hotel La Rade was very nice. I was a little skeptical based on some of the reviews here. The room was nice, the staff was friendly and the beds were pretty comfortable--aside from the pillows. I would have to say that the price of the hotel was a little high for what you get, but overall we... more

We have just returned from a 5 night holiday at Cassis. We have no complaints about the hotel, albeit the room was small, but clean and adequate. Hotel staff were particularly helpful when we had a problem with our hire car. more

I stayed there for 2 nights with my girlfriend as all the other hotels in Cassis were booked up. It far exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and more than helpful. The room was immaculate and tastefully decorated with nice wooden floors. The corridors were a bit dingy as the person below writes, but we managed to solve that... more

I would recommend making a reservation. We were turned away one night but came back the next and it was well worth it. We stayed in the Jr. Suite., located above the pool and it was really nice. The pool was great. The room was clean and you could see the mediteranean from the bathtub! It was walking distance to... more

We found this hotel on the internet and stayed two nights. It was correct and clean, and relatively cheap, but without charm or character. Nevertheless it was convenient because we had great walk and dinner in the city of Cassis and spent a lovely day in the wonderful Calanques. more

Cassis is a great little town - probably the prettiest part of the Côte d'Azur - but this hotel is nothing special. Parking is poor with only about 8 spaces in the street + 6 garages for 31 rooms, meaning we had to find a space in a nearby street. Our room was tired, but clean and there was no... more

I echo the 2 reviews above. We stayed here recently and the front desk gal was just as described. Smug, haughty, unhelpful. Rude, rude, rude... but not above being flirty with my husband. Unacceptable. Moreover the halls were dark and creepy. There was no place to park. The food in the breakfast area was stale and the help there was... more

We decided to go to Cassis on short notice, and this hotel was the only one with rooms available, so we booked here. Cassis was great--we enjoyed the Route des Cretes, the waterfront restaurants, and the boat trip to the Calanques--but I would not stay in this hotel if you have another option. This hotel is of the standards of... more
