Just spent three nights here with my wife. Wonderful rooms with the most amazing views of Cassis. Julie and Jean Claud are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area is exquisite with a panoramic vista looking down towards the vineyards and the valley to the bay of cassis. 15 minute down hill stroll into Cassis with a great selection of... We only spent one night, but we found it to be a very good bed and breakfast. Nice room, beautiful pool, wonderful view from the poolside, clean rooms. On a mountain above the city which gives you a nice walk up and down. It was really nice to stay and relax at the pool with a magnificent view

This Chambre d'hôte is a charming place to stay. Beautifully designed and furnished with amazing panoramic views. We had 2 rooms, the first called "Entre terre et mer" was decorated in contemporary nautical style and had a useful kitchenette, well furnished terrace with table and 4 chairs, beach chairs from which to marvel at the view of the sea, vineyards... You cant beat the view at this BnB. Especially the room we got right in front of the pool. Close to town and very easy to get to with or without gps. My wife and I are currently staying here and we love it. Already making plans to come back. This place is rin by a husband and wife team... More

Jean-Claude is truly a master craftsman. This building has been built with real love and care so you get something really special with a direct view on the Cap Canaille - Europe's highest coastal cliff at 400m . In the setting sun, the view from by the pool is incomparable.I am sure much better than anywhere that you could stay... More

Really the best price quality relation! The room is lovely, the view is a dream, the service, the atmosphere, everything perfect and Julie is very nice. In all our journey, this is the best place with nothing to compare luxury hotels or other alternatives. i strongly recommend it!

Modern, cozy rooms with comfortable beds. For a longer stay, the kitchenette complete with hotplate and fridge would have been very handy. Each room has it's own small terrace and table if you want to have a meal or relaxing glass of wine there. An easy 15 minute walk into town, which was nice because parking looked to be hard... More

I booked having seen the listing on Alastair Sawday and emailed requesting what was described as a 'Suite that sleeps 6'. The other rooms were listed as doubles. In reality the 'suite' was just a big double room in which a sofa had been turned into a bed. As we were 2 (male/female) friends this was a little awkward. I... More

My husband, our two children, aged 3 and 6, and I spent a restful and happy week at Julie and Jean-Claude's Demeure Insoupconnee in April this year. The location was ideal: a short drive from the centre of Cassis and the Calanques, an equally short drive to the panoramic road to Marseille or to the highway leading to Aix. We... More
