Located just outside the harbour in Cassis (2 min. stroll), this is a small and friendly hotel that was perfect for us. The owners and staff (their daughters at times I think) were very friendly and helpful. The small room was typical of many European hotels but very clean and comfortable. Ample French breakfast of croissants, breads, juices and excellent... More

This is a small, family and friendly hotel, ideal to discover Cassis and the Calanques. If you wish to see the good sides of French people you should give it a go. Its situation is ideal being 2 blocks from the port and above the casino. The service was very good as the owner volunteered to taxi us to the... More

Located about 5 minutes’ walk from the town centre on a small hill, this family owned budget hotel has free secure (gated) parking. We stayed 3 nights in their “designer room” which is separate/detached from the hotel itself, and just inside the locked gate – in fact when we looked more closely we believe it is a converted garage!! The... More

I am apologize for these negative points. You had the higher room of our 2 stars hotel, a room to 18m2 white and design with tv, phone, safe, air conditionnated, fridge, hair dryer, bathroom and toilet separated. If. you Will asked to us we could put something to the shower glass for more privacy. In France a 2 stars hotel... More

Our room in the Hotel de France Maguy was clean and comfortable, though very small. The wifi did not work at all in the room, though was fine downstairs in the breakfast room. Free parking is a big benefit; the location is very central. It wasn't a room to spend a lot of time in, but if you don't mind... More

We booked two nights at Hotel Maguy and from the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by Sabrina. She took the time to explain how to get to the beach, to the Calanques, and what to do overall in Cassis. She also answered any other questions we had and even have us maps and beach towels. The rooms are... More

I'll echo other comments that the rooms are tiny. However, you'll want to be out and about in beautiful, lively Cassis day and night. Breakfasts were typical - OK, not as "homemade" as other lodging in France - served in the light-filled dining area with regional newspaper available. Transportation pluses: an easy walk to beach & harbor, 5-minute walk from... More

We stayed here two nights in June, and enjoyed it. The hotel is located an approx. five minutes walk from the harbour where most of the main attractions (beach, boat tours, restaurants) are located, which makes it perfect as it is also very quiet. The rooms are small and really needs the air conditioner which is provided if it is... More

We had a twin room at the Maguy - it was the smallest twin room I have been in. We had to put our luggage on the floor as there was no place to set it and there was barely enough room left to walk around it. The good news - we had a car and there was parking here... More

The hotel is perfectly located, close to the town centre and beach, but in a quiet location. The owners are exceptionally firendly and helpful: they collected me from Cassis station (three kilometers out of town) and took me back there when it was time to leave, and even lent me a beach towel (I was travelling light). Highly recommended!

This hotel is perfectly situated to enjoy Cassis. For drivers, there is a locked parking lot where your car is easily accessible. A 3 minute walk into town takes you to all the restaurants, the TI, the port, and the beginning of the hike to the Calanques. Our room was small but clean, and the bathroom had recently been updated.... More
