This is a remarkable property that sits above the port of Cassis. It is only five rooms so expect a more intimate experience. Being at the top of a hill means a brisk walk into and back from the center of town, but only a ten minute walk, and the views are worth the exertion. The staff was gracious and... More

On arrival at Chateau de Cassis, first and foremost be prepared for an extremely steep climb up to the location, with absolutely no help with your baggage what so ever, even on arrival to your room. Be prepared for a long walk up a small road which smells of sewage. We arrived in our room to find barely any furniture... More

This is one of the harder reviews I’ve had to write. If you look at some of the bad reviews for Chateau de Cassis, you would say they were right. This is a very expensive B&B and you will not get personalized service, luggage assistance, etc. So as I thought about it, I loved this place and thought it was... More

My fiancée and I recently traveled around the South of France and were told by a friend to stay at Chateau de Cassis. One of the best travel tips we've ever gotten! The Chateau is up in the hills overlooking the beach, town and marina of Cassis -- a quiet and unpretentious vacation town in the Côte d'Azur. Many people... More

This is a spellbindingly beatifully located historic castle above Cassis which has been converted into a hotel. The two bedroom suite has a fantastic balcony with an eagle eyed view of the harbour of Cassis. The restaurant for breakfast has an equally wonderful view. Lovely pool. The idiosyncracy is that one's greeted by the gardener in a scruffy t-shirt and... More

It was with a bit of trepidation that I booked the chateau due to the adverse comments on Tripadvisor. I booked it for some friends of mine who absolutely loved and then I stayed a week later. I stayed in the suite with 2 bedrooms and the most incredible view over the private terrace taking in the whole of Cassis.... More

My wife and I stayed the last day of our two week - Discover France- trip in this marvellous place.the stay in the junior suite room was splended, obviously expected for €590 /night. Walking down the hill for dinner in Cassis was no objection, but getting up with full stomach was a little less convenient. The very plus point op... More

The only thing that Chateau de Cassis has going for them is the amazing view and proximity to the port. Unfortunately they charge you a hefty price for that. First of all, dont expect any help with your luggage upon arrival. I stayed one night in their most expensive room thinking I get to enjoy my amazing private terrace with... More
