First let me say that this hotel is really not any where close to the town of Digne les Bains. It was well worth the drive, however, as we were on our way to Nice and it is on 85, which is the main route to Nice. The hotel is very pretty, with lovely rooms which are on the small... More

We stayed here the night before and after the Chemin de Fer railway journey to Nice and back. It was an excellent choice. The hotel was clean, adequate in size and excellent service. the owner was very chatty though French only, She was very good at understanding our broken french and tried very hard. The hotel now has a restaurant... More

We came upon this by chance and I am glad we did! It is right on the side of the road but I didn't hear a thing and our room was on the road side. The sense of arrival is very good as the hotel is well maintained and clean. This is a two star with prices to match (we... More

This is a small, but very comfortable, well appointed hotel. The rooms are large, extremely clean, and moderately priced. The petit dejeuner was delicious and inexpensive. The staff was friendly and most helpful.

We rate this hotel highly in terms of good value. It is not a luxury hotel but the rooms are clean, the hotel is well run and the owners very friendly. There is a convenient and agreeable restaurant within walking distance. The hotel is on a main road but there was little or no traffic between 10pm to 7am so... More

We stayed for one night only. The room was very small, as was the en suite. The shower head was at waist height with a very high (24 inches) step in & out. Not easy when slippery & wet. The room was clean although the bathroom in need of refurb. That said it was cheap but not sure we would... More

I am happy to agree with the previous reviewer. Jocelyn and Christian were very friendly and this is a great place to stay if , say, driving the Route Napoleon or for any other reason.

A very convenient stop on the scenic Route Napoleon, next to the road [rather noisy] and adjacent to the little Nice to Digne railway. A very warm welcome from genial hosts. Rooms were adequate if small as was the shower room ~ but good for the price. Very clean. Two good restaurants within yards. An overnight stop, but very agreable.

My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Relais de Chabrieres. The hotel is situated very close to the train station, in a very tiny town. The scenery on all sides of the hotel is lovely, with mountain views and charming homes. The family that runs the hotel is very polite and helpful, even chasing after us at the... More

My wife and I needed a place to stay on the way between Aix en Provence and Grenoble. This place took us a bit our of our way but it was worth it. The hotel is small and right by the main road - RN 85 - in a narrow, steep-sided valley but despite this our room was quiet and... More
