We were travelling through France and stayed at this hotel on our first night in France. It was easy to find as we were driving. Friendly staff. Lovely breakfast. Room was clean and basic. Nice size. Would recommend. The town of Saintes is worth a visit. more

On the plus side the hotel is literally opposite the station - you could hear the announcements with the window open although that didn't bother us as I think the trains stop at night. The Staff were very friendly, spoke good English and were very informative about the town. The bathroom was adequately clean and the linens fresh. On the... more

I found the hotel on the internet and phoned them as I needed 2 rooms for the following night. I was driving to the ferry with my husband and three small children. I said that I hoped to be there about 8pm but I wasnt sure as we were driving a long way and I did not know eactly how... more
