Right on main road into town (about 10 mins) but only open carpark ,so no secure parking, which is always preferable when touring. Rather old & shabby. Perfectly clean, and lovely beds, but just badly in need of a refurb. On arrival, Receptionist busy on phone, but didn't even acknowledge us, and when finally free, didn't even apologise for keeping... More

We have been staying at Ibis motels for years; whenever we motor across France, we plan our route around where there's an Ibis off the highway. Unfortunately, this Ibis outside Niort was not up to the chain's usual standards. The entryway, reception/lounge area and restaurant all smelled terrible! Luckily the smell did not extend to our rooms (one floor above),... More

We stayed here for 1 night only as we were visiting the area and needed to move on. I choose the hotel based on price/facilities/location and wasn't disappointed. Our room was on the ground floor (straight along the passage as you walk in) and looked onto a meadow which was a very pleasant surprise. My intention was to have our... More

I expected this hotel to be of the usual standard of other Ibis hotels, but I was mistaken. The room seemed smaller than usual, but very clean and the bed as usual was very comfortable. However when we first entered the hotel and went into the reception we were met with a very nasty fishy smell. The staff were unable... More

Stayed at this hotel 23rd May en route to Spain. The hotel looks good on the Ibis web page, but in reality it is quite an old hotel and upon close inspection it looks it. Be warned there is no lift, so if you are above ground floor you will have to haul your bags up the stairs. Rooms are... More

Stayed one night on our way to Portugal. Plus was that pets are allowed in the room, minus was the poor quality of the dinner and the bathroom. Shower head was plugged. Overall not really value for money. They charge a lot for food and drinks.

This hotel is cheap, and you get what you pay for. Yes, the rooms are small. So is the bathtub. So what? There's a pong in the corridor, but the beds are very comfortable and the room is as clean as it can be. For 50 euros a night per couple, that's fine with me. I don't care if the... More

old and smelly hotel with very small rooms, there was no electric when we arrive and we were told that it would come on at 6pm the chap on reception gave the impression we should not be checking in before then, on the plus side located outside of town easy to find
