Pros: Covenient position. Comfortable with good wifi. Cons: Better provision needed for food allergies and intolerances. The French are only just beginning to address this important issue. Location: Plenty of restaurant and take aways within walking distance. Can walk to town centre. Dominos pizza and subway very near. But Hotel position is quiet. Generally an enjoyable stay in the hotel.... More

Stayed here for 2 nights and couldn't have chosen better. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Room had a firm bed with suited my bad back. Hotel restaurant was good which I find refreshing for a hotel like this and not exceptionally expensive

We were travelling south in France and chose to stopover in Niort a city we had never visited before. It was Sunday not always the best time for hotels and restaurants. When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly receptionist , our room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel was well positioned for a walk into the town to... More

We stopped here overnight as part of a long journey south. It was a pleasant and clean hotel. The family room was big enough for the three of us and most comfortable. The restaurant served lovely, French cuisine and the waiting staff were extremely amiable! I would certainly stay here again...maybe for more than one night!!

We stayed here en route from Roscpff to the Dordogne. What a great place to stay, very central to shops, restaurants etc. The room was lovely, very comfortable bed with air- con, fantastic wi-Fi and tea/coffee making facilities with a fridge in the room. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, it even has a lovely swimming pool and we... More

Booked two rooms for our return journey home from Portugal to Britain! Dull, drab and dated hotel! Our room was on the bottom floor with a view of the car park! We asked Mickael and Simon (Unhelpful, Rude Receptionists) if we could change our rooms! They advised 'No availability' even though I was able to book two family rooms on... More

My husband and I stayed here on our outward journey from St Malo to the Aude, likewise on our return journey. A typical Mercure hotel, conveniently situated for the town centre, private gated parking. Very good restaurant if a little expensive and limited choice of menu - we were slightly disappointed that the menu remained unchanged on our second visit!... More
