I stay at le roche noire for just one night. The room was nicely refurbish and even if small it offers more than I expected: coffee and tee in the room and a bottel of water. Breakfast was ready before opening time and with a lot of good food, including fresh cackes and croissants!

We arrived in Les Sables-D'Olonne with no hotel reservations. We searched hotel options on our GPS and decided to head to the Best Western. It is at the end of the strip but over looks the water. It is a small hotel but well appointed. We were able to get 3 rooms which were very clean and comfortable. No bells... More

The hotel was centrally located and the room was spacious and clean. Wi-Fi was available but the reception was poor in the room and non existent for my kindle whilst on the balcony. The balcony itself has a fantastic view of the sea and the beach but was a bit small. Parking was great for us as we were lucky... More

A bit of an enigma really, exactly a mile from the hustle and bustle of the bars and restaurants of the port, but still on the prom with sea views and in season all the surrounding bars and restaurants will be open, but in the third week in May they weren't! Perhaps more for those that like peace and quiet... More

This hotel was right in the centre of the resort, a beautiful spot. Our room was ok, no seaview, but there was air conditioning which was good. Room clean and bathroom fine. Staff very helpful and directed us to parking just a couple of minutes from the hotel, which was a great bonus in such a busy resort. Enjoyed our... More

We spent a week at this great hotel 18 - 25 June having booked via Brittany Ferries. Parking was no problem, there are plenty of free spaces nearby and and there is an area directly outside the door where you can park for 20 minutes whilst unloading. We had a corner room with a balcony on the third floor where... More

Room ok. Clean, small and fairly basic. View was fantastic however and more than made up for any downside. We were on 2nd floor and opened our window to a small balcony just in front of the sea. Wifi worked fine. Right on the quay and fairly easy to find. Parking is an issue since they have no garage. However... More

I booked the highest priced room in the hotel and the view from the corner room and its wrap-round balcony at sunset was fantastic. The room was freshly decorated and bright, but s-m-a-l-l. The double bed was small. The bathroom was small. The price was not small. The wifi connexion "wasn't working since the storm(!)"; the receptionist supplied a bit... More

The hotel was quite dated and the rooms small, but it is right on the beach-front and in a reasonably convenient location. There is a laundromat, supermarket and variety of cafes and restaurants within a 5 minute walk and only a 10 minute walk down the promenade to the main part of town. Unlike many French hotels, it had a... More

I had booked a first or second floor room some weeks before my arrival. What greeted me was a cross receptionist and a ground floor room. It was the most awful hotel bedroom I have ever seen. It was located next to the lift (very noisy) and the room was dark, dank and most depressing. the window looked out on... More
