I arrived at the hotel is dreadful weather and was well received by reception who braved the rain and parked my car for me. An adequate room with a massive walk-in shower. The restaurant served a really first class meal. A bit difficult to find around wiggly and narrow streets, but well worth the effort. I was grateful for sat-nav!

Easily reachable off the motorway, this proved to be a very stylish and comfortable place to stay on our journey south. It would also be an option if you were visiting Futuroscope (just up the road). The buildings have been renovated to a high standard. Our room was in the slightly more modern annexe, a short walk from the main... More

We are annual "passers-by" and wouldn't ever contemplate stopping over anywhere else on our journey through to Britanny. In fact this time our 5th visit over time, we thought that the food had even gone up a notch, offering a more interesting pallet of flavours and combinations to rejoice our palates. The staff remain as welcoming as ever and the... More

We have been coming here for years and have seen it improve tremendously. It is a very stylish hotel, very conveniently accessed from the motorway but in a lovely quiet village. The chateau dates from the 19th century but there is a more modern annex where most of the overnight accommodation is housed. We had a superb dinner on the... More

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for one night during our drive from the Algarve to the Channel Tunnel, and we were extremely pleased that we had chosen it. The setting was beautiful and the rooms were large and comfortable. The restaurant was particularly good and we thoroughly enjoyed a 5 course taster menu sitting outside in the... More

Lovely hotel, with beautiful grounds, in a lovely little village. Friendly staff especially those serving dinner. Dinner itself is great and you can have it in the garden on a warm summer day which is very nice. The food is a little disappointing as the chef tries hard to make it modern but doesnt quite get there. Very lovely to... More

The hotel itself is impressive and beautifully decorated, and our room was fine (on top floor, limited head space, no window except for skylight, but very comfortably equipped and furnished, and very clean). It was the cheapest rate for the room so we accepted its limitations. However, the evening meal was superb, taken out on the terrace in beautiful and... More

This is the seond time we have stayed at this hotel. The room for 135 euros was extremely comfortable with sofa and aircon. The meal was simply outstanding: the beef and the lamb were excellent. At 44 euros it was like eating in a Michelin starred resto. It has swimming pool. The staff were friendly and efficient.

We were there with our family, and as part of a group. The chateau was great for our kids because of the pool and lots of green space to run around in. There is also a park with a children's area just outside the gate. There are some stores nearby, though hours are not consistent. Restaurant is fantastic. Our room... More

This is a great place to stay over 1 night when travelling through France. Not far from the Autoroute, and through a bit of an industrial area... don't worry ... soon you find yourself in a small village area and a lovely Chateau. We were welcomed by friendly staff and had a large slightly quirky room. Stained glass windows (So... More
