We booked this hotel as we had stayed here previously, admittedly 15 years or so ago and failed to check out this site beforehand.. Time has not been kind. I remember this as being clean, cosy and hospitable. (I am 100% certain it is the same place as the shape of the bedrooms is very idiosyncratic: triangular, like Trivial Pursuit... More

We booked this Auberge out of convenience for an overnight stay on the way to Alsace. The hotel is in a quiet location near the village where nothing was open on a Sunday evening. Fortunately, we had a picnic with us. The rooms are very small, mouldy and so was the bathroom. Toilet seat was broken, no shower curtain. We... More

Like others have said time has passed this place by. The owners are very pleasant and hospitable. The menu is limited but there were locals eating there I only took breakfast. Breakfast was a huge choice of products from cereal to cakes toast rolls cheese and buffet style. I was traveling again by motor cycle and the owners suggested I... More

We took 2 rooms in late June on our way back from the South of France. We had read that the rooms were a bit weird in shape and that didn't matter. What mattered was finding the Manager smoking in the restaurant while chatting with the Chef and putting the cigarette out when we walked in. The gardens were overgrown,... More

When I arrived I thought the place had closed down. Gardens and hedges overgrown and weed-filled, fences falling down and seemingly no-one about. I did find the manager, who to be fair was friendly and welcoming, but then came to the room, which was in an odd sort of octagonal annex. I would say it was built about 30 years... More

Having stayed at several Logis-de-France we know what to expect. This was definitely NOT 3-star for food and accommodation. Dinner was aweful, the room small and the service lacking. I suggest the owners visit some other Logis to see how it SHOULD be done. My recommendation is to give this one a miss. Only good point was breakfast which was... More

The staff of this hotel were friendly and welcoming and the evening meal was good. However, the accommodation is poor by today's standards. Some architect had the bright idea of constructing a circular bedroom area which means that all bedrooms have an odd shape. But that's not the real problem. The rooms are just too small: cramped and very much... More

We stayed here twice - en route at the beginning and end of our holiday. The rooms are adequate and clean but the single beds are little more than bunk beds and small even for me at 5ft1ins and impossible for my 6ft 5ins husband. The sheets are so old that they are like sleeping on sandpaper and there was... More

The hotel was well-placed for an overnight stop on the way to the Alps. Standard French hotel of its type. Noisy road. Better meal than expected - good local food.

We had visited the hotel several times as it is very convenient for a first night stop. However, the restaurant service deteriorated and the last couple of visits was very poor, so we decided not to go again. We then discovered that there were new owners and so gave it another try. We made the right decision - the service... More
