Does what is says on the tin really - I booked this hotel as a stop-over but wished I hadn't. On the plus side it was easy to find, and a short walk from the Auchun supermarket which was excellent and had a great Flunch café/restaurant where you could get a self-service salad, dessert and glass of wine which was... Stopped over here on way back to UK on a European motorcycling trip. It was the cheapest on offer from booking.com in Saint Quentin. No frills, budget type hotel on an industrial/retail park on outskirts of town. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and twin room was small but clean with decent facilities - TV and free wi-fi. No... More

We only stayed there as a stop over on our way back to UK, so, it was a choice of convenience more than anything else. Well... It is a bit the same at each drive back... The positives points are : the location, close to the motorway and in a commercial area with lots of eateries and restaurants around; the... More

This was okay as a stop over. The room was very small and tired as was the bathroom, the shower was tiny and the shower attachment was broken so you had to hold the shower head. The toilet also needed some bleach down it. The hotel was in a retail area so there was a large supermarket and a few... More

Its amazing how many of these cheap, comfortable chains there are in France. This was our first time at a Balladins. It was clean, looked as though it had been recently refurnished...comfortable bed, hot running water, adequate breakfast. Situated just off the motorway about 170 kms from Calais, a good place to stop before returning to the UK. On the... More

This hotel was OK for one night as a cheap stopover, its close to the motorway on a retail park which has a Quick burger and a large Auchan supermarket. The hotel is very basic but was clean and had a good shower. For 35 euros I knew it would not be 5*.

Standard Etap value fare. This hotel is a little dated, and seems to have limited non-smoking options but is otherwise clean and simple. It's out of town so you'll need a car, but is near a Centre Commercial with supermarket and Flunch self-service restaurant. The McDonalds does a 'Brunch' which is an excellent value Breakfast option, better than the hotel.
