Really good place to stopover before heading home to England. Very central so good for walking to restaurants and close to driving to Eurotunnel. Really appreciated the secure parking as car and roof box full of our things. The family were very helpful, making our grandson a delicious hot chocolate on arrival and recommending a local Brasserie to eat at.... More

This is just the perfect place and the host family could not have been more friendly and helpful. Great location - not far from the port and for seeing the centre of Calais and finding good places to eat etc but more than this, it's an amazing house and provided a fantastic experience of a beautiful home. As well as... More

After 10 years of 'stopovers' in Calais we have finally found the place. Friendly hosts, beautiful building, tastefully decorated rooms with excellent facilities and to finish off, a pleasant breakfast. Also, 5 minutes walk from town.

What a gem. This private B&B is located in a small back street close to the centre of Calais in a wonderful period building full of charm and character that is, at the end of the day, someone's home. Not anyones home by the way but the home of a very charming and friendly family for whom nothing was too... More

We decided to book into a B&B as the final stage of our return to the Uk. We arrived to be greeted by Jean Michel who guided us to our room and gave directions to the secure car park after we had emptied our bags etc. The family room was fantastic, spacious and the kids had their own room and... Easy to find and convenient location. I aways worry when I go to France as I literally have no French skills at all!! The owner here has perfect English and did not make me feel my usual embarrassment for my lack of French. We parked outside on the street which was free and perfectly adequate. The room was lovely and... More

Very comfortable and clean. Excellent Hosts and amazing Breakfast. We were very pleased with our accommodations. The little garden out back was very private. A nice little hideaway. Could walk downtown and sample wonderful food.

Our ferry was late and we managed to lose ourselves in Calais. So it was near 11 pm when we phoned for help. Jean-Michel showed great patience and humour in conducting us through the town by remote control, and was outside the front door to greet us. It's a lovely place, full of history and atmosphere, very comfortable. Both host... More

The B&B is walking distance from the town. Restaurants and sites are easy to get to. It has a car park, a major plus in Calais centre. If you are stopping over this is a very good choice. Friendly helpful owners who can speak English and give good advice on where to eat etc. Comfortable rooms, a really good breakfast... More

We slept over night in this hotel on our way back to the UK. It is in an excellent location in Calais town and we strolled down to a bistro for super leaving the car filled to the highs with our luggage in the secure parking area. Initially I was worried about leaving bags in the car but was told... More
