Beautifully decorated throughout and charming owners. An ideal place for a night or two on the way to or from the UK. Within a few minutes walk to some good restaurants on the edge of the city centre. Offered car park is close by and offers gated overnight parking - ideal if you have a car full of holiday stuff. more

A wonderful, friendly welcome. We travel to France every year to visit our family and always stay overnight in Calais before our journey back to the North of England. We have stayed in several different hotels in Calais over the years but this is the best! Our teenage boys loved their own room (part of the suite of 2 bedrooms... more

We were looking for a one-night stopover before continuing our journey south, and this hotel was perfect. In fact if we were staying in Calais we could happily have stayed there for several nights. Large rooms, huge bathroom with spa shower and jacuzzi bath, really helpful owner and lovely breakfast in a room leading onto the garden. Would definitely recommend. more

The day we travelled back to Calais was particularly taxing and we were dreading having to negotiate central Calais and trying to find our hotel. What a waste of worrying! Following the directions given to us by Anne-Sophie we had no problem; they were accurate to the letter! Accessing the secure carpark a few streets away, and finding an excellent... more

We stayed overnight at Le Cercle de Malines on our way back to England. Hidden a couple of streets back from the main street in Calais was this beautiful gem of a hotel. The rooms were wonderful and the service matched the rooms. It was convenient for many restaurants and bars and five minutes from the port. We would recommend... more

We were looking for somewhere nice to stay in Calais that wasn`t overpriced but equally wasn`t like a non-carpeted motel room. (Although it wasn`t cheap either ! )We came across this small guest house, read other reviews and decided to give it a visit. What an unexpected surprise in the back streets of Calais. We had a lovely sized room... more

Stayed here en route to south of France and on our return journey. Chose the hotel from the description on the internet which convinced us to try this hotel for the first time and we were not disappointed. Although an old building, it has lots of charm with very modern toilet and shower facilities. The hosts were especially welcoming. more

We were pleased in every way with our stay. Our 15 year old daughter had a separate room - a shared bathroom between the two rooms which worked perfectly. Everything was clean and fresh and the toiletries an unexpected delight. The private, secure parking was a big plus for us as we were only staying overnight en route to Switzerland.... more
