We stayed at this hotel on the evening of 4th July 14. We have previously stayed at the Ibis,Sous la Manche but decided to opt for a change. Pleasantly surprised, hotel was clean and functional with a good car park. Nothing much in the way of restaurants in the area, so we dined in the hotel. Food was good and... More

Handy enough for the tunnel or ferry but not much local choice to eat if you don't want to eat in the hotel. Room was clean and functional, car park fairly secure and the hotel is dog friendly. Average Campanile really but I felt it was a little too expensive. I would shop around a bit more next time but... More

Our stop over fine but the excessive prices charged for drinks and breakfast made the bill double what was expected. A fair deal isnt so hard to provide but poot value hotels won't see me staying again!

We stayed one night at the Hotel Campanile and I could say it was good choice. We arrived just before 10 a clock and we still get our dinner-not the best off but hot and served with smile after closing hour. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms are simple but after 12 hours driving I slept very well.... More

We stayed one night at the Hotel Campanile. We were on a bit of an expediton...I was accompanying an 80 year old chum who needs a constant supply of oxygen, on his first trip out of the little French village where he lives on a boat, in 9 years. So we needed a room that was close to the car... More

Room was bad with damp patches and plaster peeling off the walls. Definitely needs a refurbishment. Restaurant food was bad - uncooked burger and then recooked with the chips being microwaved with the buns and therefore hard and inedible! Breakfast was okay. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone even for a stop over. Rooms are not as shown on... More

Over the years I have used this Campanile on many occasions. My last visit was three years ago when the restaurant had just been refurbished and I gave an excellent review. The hotel is clean but in need of upgrade. Restaurant is now very average the food is not as good and there is a lot less of it. No... More

The room was very comfortable and just right after a long days driving. The first room I was given, the electrics for the lamp, kettle and TV didnt work. I was given a second room which was fine. However there wasnt enough hot water to run the bath, nor shower in the morning. The dinner: the potatoes were overcooked and... More

After driving from Scotland, it's great to get to a hotel. The staff are not the friendliest and the rooms are not the best. But it is on your route - close to the ferry port and the tunnel. Free parking and not too bad meals available on site. Reasonable value for money. We have stayed at least five times... More

When travelling on France we usually stay with Campanile. Yes it is a cheap chain but it is always clean, they always have free off street parking, staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful with good choices. We did not eat dinner this time as we just went to shop at Citie Europe but the Campanile Restaurant is fine... More
