Had an overnight work visit to the Channel tunnel so used the hotel for some slepp from 5am - 11am and had no sound issues at all. Rooms were adequate without being fancy but clean nonetheless. Everything worked, BBC and ITV for those who cant miss their soaps and a nice looking bar downstairs. Reasonably priced and would use again. more

We have stayed at the Metro frequently over many years and have always been impressed with the high standards of housekeeping, comfort and friendliness, not only extended to regulars like us, but to all guests. I would say that this hotel is my idea of typically french. Dark wood everywhere and classic. The staff were really really friendly and helpful...nothing was any trouble and they spoke good english too which helped as i speak little french. We stayed for two nights at the Hotel over the bank holiday. The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. It was also reasonably priced. Only downside is that if you are a light sleeper it can be noisy especially if you have to sleep with the window open as it is right next to the railway... more
