5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Had low expectations about our final night in France. Was an overnight before early ferry home! However it was a wee gem. Premier inn style. Comfortable beds and our first bath in 10 days (showers everywhere else!) and to my husbands delight first kettle in room too! We at first scorned the restaurant and went looking for alternatives. Bertha was... More

The location of the hotel was good and fairly easy to locate. Booking in was easy and the staff was very pleasant. The rooms were clean and contemporary in look apart from the colours! They were amazing. One room we had was lime green with a dash of orange and the other was azure blue with a dash of sapphire!!... More

increased price from what was agreed at check out - making up rules on counting kids as they went along even website say children under 6 can stay for free if using existing bed. Not recommended for family with young children. rooms not very clean. Carpet falling apart. Can do better and not get cheated in the calais area

We visited this hotel on several occasions and have previously reviewed it. This time I was disappointed. The only way I could access the wi-fi on my iPad was to stand in the corridor. The hotel advertises wi-fi in all areas. Unfortunately we ate in the restaurant. The food was not appealing and one of us was ill next day.... More

It is my first time at this hotel and I have to say , I am quiet an easy person but ,even if my room is not the cleanest I ever seen (hair and sand in the tub), I thought : well after quiet a stressful day and the trip from London at least the view and the price for... More

With being only 10-15 minutes from the Tunnel is really helpful. Didn't use the cafe, so can only comment on the comfy rooms. Only one small idea - we had 2 rooms and in the triple the third single has no reading light, which would better so not to disturb the kids.

Stayed for one night upon our return from our European tour early this month; we were able to park both motorcycles easily and it felt like they would be safe. Friendly check in and able to book breakfast. We chose not to eat here (looked good mind) but found it a pleasant enough walk back to the market square for... More

To be honest I wasn't expecting much as on paper it seemed like a stopover hotel for people using the ferry. Upon arrival it didn't look like much either, but its location was quite good: almost on the beach (as the name suggests) with nice views across the sea. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean... More

This was our first time doing the tunnel to Calais, found this hotel on late rooms and for £47 we didn't expect much....and didn't care because how much time will you spend in your room anyway? The first receptionist was a but arrogant and rude and told me and my mum we were having a large bed to share when... More

We've stayed here a few times, it's reasonable value and very handy for ferry crossings from Calais and Zeebrugge. Nice position on the promenade. The restaurant compares favourably with others in this region( there isn't much competition.) I guess the best you can say is that it's OK, Prices vary considerably depending on what time of year you travel.
