Do not know what some people expect, and, why they dont bother doing a 5 minute research of the area etc; one complained not by the golf course, it does not state anywhere golf course; I stayed last weekend,( I travel 9 months of the year using usually Sheraton hotels) this was a quick stopover; excellent position, walking distance to... Very nice. Although the staff aren't often there, it doesn't compromise your stay, as it is 'paired' with the hotel next door. The hygiene was excellent. Sleep was good. Aesthetics were good too. Smelled of cigarettes in the hall, but not in the rooms. The bathroom was fairly good, with a powerful shower. WiFi did not work. Next to a... More

Arrived on late ferry into Calais and definitely need sat nav to find it, and key was next door but the young guy there was really polite and helpful Good clean basic hotel. Room on first floor was quiet, clean and spacious. Small (queen size) double but really firm comfortable mattress with clean crisp sheets. Bunk beds in room too.... More

Great value as a budget stopover hotel, we stayed twice for two nights over a two week period, having booked through booking.com. The room was clean, and the corridors tidy and smart. The bunk beds in both rooms we stayed in were tired with stripped off black paint, and the bathrooms weren't exactly newly renovated, but I can't complain too... More

We were in a ground floor room so can't really give any comment on the other floors. The good bits: Clean and good size rooms with good size bathrooms. English German & French TV channels. Free WiFi. Right on The beach. Great restaurant next door. Very cheap. Not so good bits: The WiFi signal was very weak and unusable. Very... More

This hotel was fine for what we wanted-somewhere cheap for an overnight stay before catching the ferry. An excellent price and ideal location for the ferry. Our room was a little tired looking, though was well equipped with clean bedding and extra pillows. The beds were comfortable but when we booked we chose the twin bed option but our room... More

This was our second stay at this hotel and once again did not disappoint The rooms are now looking a little tired but the facilities provided are very good. A lift would be useful especially when staying on the top floor like we were. The beds were comfortable and the facility of a kitchenette with fridge, microwave & hot plates... More

I wouldn't stay here for any longer than a night but it was absolutely fine for a quick stop off to break up a journey from Paris to the UK midlands. There was nobody on reception when we landed so the key was left at the hotel next door (guessing they are both owned by same person/company?). The outside doesn't... More

Better than other reviews suggest. Rooms a bit tired but clean and comfortable. Restaurant next door pretty good and public play areas are good for kids to burn off excess energy of a morning. Wouldn't stay a week but fine for a night pre or post ferry.

When we arrived at this hotel we expected it to be near a golf course.......................not a fun ''mini-golf'' We had to search to find how to check in and eventually discovered that the restaurant next door was the place! Everything was very basic although the room was large and airy and had views of the sea. It was not a... More
