We have been using this hotel since the opening of the Tunnel and until recently thought that it was worth the extra cost but our latest trip we thought it was looking a little worse for wear. The bedrooms are of a good size and very comfortable although bathrooms are looking a bit tired. One thing really upset us was... More

This is an excellent hotel for Le Shuttle being only a few minutes drive away especially when we stayed and it was so foggy you could hardly see anything in front of you! We had a bar meal in the evening which just fitted our needs but I did notice that one of the tables was thick with dust. The... More

Do not book a wheelchair room in this hotel. Bathroom completely unsuitable. Restaurant menu looks wonderful but exceeds the chef's capability. We hope this will save someone in a wheelchair booking an unsuitable room.

We stayed a night at the Holiday Inn, Calais on our way to the Hague during the Bank Holiday weekend. Simple, no non-sense hotel. We had a superior room and was nice and comfortable for the three of us (2 adults and a 3-year old). The hotel itself is just a couple of miles from the eurotunnel and not far... More

Second time staying here. Chosen for convenience and value for the tunnel crossing. Room fine and the small but well maintained gym good but does not open until 08.30. Makes getting to breakfast by 09.30 tight - more to follow. Dinner was better than expected and we both managed a good nights sleep. Gym in the morning and then to... More

Stayed here for a 1 night stop over before taking the ferry.Always used to stay at the IBIS but I think it is worth the extra. The rooms are that much bigger and breakfast is pretty good and staff were helpful. Could do with the hotel sign near the entrance so at night you do not drive past as I... More

This is the third hotel I've stayed in overnight before taking the Eurotunnel to Folkestone. It's the best one too. Close to the motorway and easy to find. Good breakfast (we arrived too late for dinner). Spacious car park, with lawns for those who need to exercise their dog (like me !).

We booked this on the way into Europe - got there about midnight after coming through the tunnel. Receptionist was efficient and we got into our rooms quickly which was just what we wanted. We had one family room and one double. Both nice, clean, well equipped and spacious rooms. Good night sleep for all. Was absolutely fine as a... More
