Stayed here only for one night, and was a pit-stop (arrived at half midnight). About the only place that you can check in as late as we did- which was what drew us to book here. Bed was comfy and clean; bathroom and decor a bit dated; very quiet; gym and pool (no time to use); free wifi; on-site parking;... More

Only spent one afternoon and night here after a trip around France. Got there just after 3pm with our four year old daughter who we had requested an extra bed in the room for. Usually places always forget and bring one up after several trips back to reception, but here it was already in the room and very comfy looking.... More

We had a good nights stay here, the staff are all very friendly. Dinner in the restaurant very nice and breakfast good as well. The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed and choice of soft or firm pillows. Free wifi throughout the hotel and free parking.

We found the hotel staff friendly. The room was very clean and warm, bedding clean, bathroom clean, towels clean, and soft, we even had a bathrobe each which I found a luxury. The restaurant was clean, food very good and the staff polite and helpful. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The only 'complaint' was the paper cups and wooden stirrers... More

Very convenient for travelling via the Channel Tunnel, about a 10 minute drive. Very quiet. Comfortable, clean and large executive rooms. The rooms and bathroom look a bit tired but not excessively so. The swimming pool is on the small side - changing facilities can do with an upgrade and strangely the swimming pool is closed between 2 and 5... More

Close to Cite Europe and the Tunnel. Food in the evening was very good. Not a typical Holiday Inn - more individual. Very easy to find from Eurotunnel and good location for onward travel. Would certainly stay here again and not just for one night.

The Holiday Inn Calais is on the outskirts of the small village of Coquelles (be careful, it is easy to miss the sign at the roundabout off the motorway and go into the village instead of into the fields where the hotel is located...). From what I saw, the hotel is predominantly used by people who are travelling either to... More

Overall a much improved Holiday Inn Coquelles, from our last stay in November 2013, when I had some serious concerns about the way in which the hotel's standards had slid from the many times we had visited previously. It was nice to see that the foyer was freshly painted and the furniture well presented with new, smart covers. Breakfast items... More

Stopped in on the last night of our motorhome holiday (I know, but sometimes you need a proper bed). Staff very courteous and a rare breed of French hotel where they allow you to butcher their language without trying to correct you or ask you if you prefer to speak English. Although they spoke wonderful English to my wife. Food... More
