We stayed here in October 2015 having got the late ferry from Dover to Calais and we needed somewhere to rest for the night. When we pulled into the carpark, I felt uneasy. There were many people roaming around the carpark and people smoking out of their room windows. However, when we got to reception, my mind was put at... More

It's a budget hotel close to the ferry terminals. The staff are friendly and the place is clean. The night we stayed, there were five Romanian Lorries in the free car park. The male drivers were hanging around the corridors and parking area while their children ran wild round the cars and corridors. As night fell you have gangs of... More

Booked this hotel on a cheap deal just for overnight stay, as we arrived on the last Eurostar train from London. The room was smelly and dark but I must admit that it does have a quite convient location (very close to train station and Calais centre) and is also cheap for those travelling on a budget.

Staff were helpful, but hotel is tired. There were a lot of strangers walking in and out and a paving slab smashed onto the conservatory roof above the bar did not help us to feel comfortable. There is no restaurant, but a five minute walk gives you a wide choice of fantastic restaurants. The rooms are more backpacking than comfortable.

We stayed here for one night just as a late stop over from the euro tunnel. Location is brilliant as its only 10 minutes from getting off the euro tunnel. We had breakfast and it was quite good. Nothing hot as typical French breakfast isn't. But a good selection of croissants, bread, jams, cereal and tea and coffee and orange... More

Stayed here for one night on the way in and the way out. Cheap enough when booking online 33 Euros. The first night was spoilt by particularly noisy neighbours who seemed to spend half the night opening and closing their room door. The tv is not good with next to no reception. Formula type accommodation and clean. Our room on... More

If you are the size of a figurine, you smoke, don't sleep and go to the toilet with the door open then this is the hotel for you. There where immigrants smoking outside our window, which meant we could not open the window on such a hot day. The room would not have been big enough for a hobbit. It... More

Basically, if you don't pay much you can't expect too much. This hotel was cheap and served its purpose. We arrived really late, around midnight as the ferry had been delayed. We checked in without any problem and I looked over to the bar and asked if it was too late to grab a beer, expecting to be told it... More

We spent a night at this hotel with our baby. The staff was friendly and the location was convenient. However... The room stank of cold cigarette smoke, the sink was barely attached to the wall, the toilet leaked, plating was missing at the electrical trunking, the bunk bed rail was covered in streaks, the window frame was broken, the hall... We were greeted in a friendly way despite arriving after midnight. The hotel is close to the ferry and so ideal for a stop where you want to set off early in the morning. The buildings are rather dingy, with dark corridors and there were no numbers on the room doors leaving us worried that we'd disturb someone when trying... More
