We stayed for two nights just after the New Year holiday. It was very cold, and we were glad of a comfortable hotel:with a good heating system. We were in the main building, not the annexe. It's true the stairs are quite steep (and very narrow in one area) and we were on the second floor. The location is great,... More

Dear Maggiemay07, Thank you for taking your time to leave us your thoughts on our hotel. We started to refurbish our bathrooms at the end of last year and we are continuing this year. We are happy to see that you liked the decoration and furniture in the bedroom, I will pass on your message to my wife who does... More

Stayed here for a week with work, the rooms in the main hotel building are nice, but I was in the annex up the road. The room was up three flights of circular stairs with time-sensitive lighting, so the lights would go out whilst I was decending quite frequently at night. The room was pretty standard, with two wardrobes but... More

Dear Emily B, Thank you for taking your time to leave your opinion on our hotel. Small precision concerning our second building this is not an annex it is called The Residence The Priory. (We care about the difference). I shall pass your message onto our team. Your title is funny: Old building that dreams of being a hotel, this... More

Sometimes, buildings that are retrofitted into ancient spaces can be fraught with problems. But we didn't encounter any of that in our recent trip to Amiens. The Hotel le Prieure, literally a few steps away from Amien's impressive cathedral, surprised us with its modern amenities and décor, delighted us with its central location, and welcomed us with a staff that... There is much to be said about this hotel. On the plus side it is right next to the cathedral so very central and in a quiet street. The people at the reception are extremely helpful and give all kinds of advice about sight seeing and restaurants. The breakfast buffet is above average but not exceptional. The bed was a... More

Dear DrDonna98, Thank you for taking the time to give us your impression of our hotel. I will rapidly pass on your message to our team. Unfortunately we cannot put an elevator in our hotel because of the age of the building that’s why we do offer to help all of our clients take their luggage to their room, next... More

We LOVED this hotel! We had a triple room which was very spacious, bathroom door was hard to open but overall an amazing room and one of our best night sleeps from our trip! Nice and warm (sometimes too warm, the heating was hard to change on one radiator) but I didn't complain too much as the room had amazing... More

the thing about this hotel is its location right next to the cathedral. Unfortunately that means pedestrianised streets and of course no parking. In fact we nearly gave up in despair negotiating the narrow streets and one way systems. Parked at St Leu which was fine. I had asked the hotel for advice about this but got no reply. Also... More

Great hotel within short walk of the Cathedral square. Very helpful staff who gave us excellent advice - where to park, where to eat. It is a very old building with querky and modern interior design. Has character and a good location to enable visits to all parts of Amiens. Hotel is in 2 different buildings a very short distance... More

The only difference was a new tv set. The rooms and hallway of the dependance are a bit smelly, it used to be a smokingroom , sticking a no smoking sign on the wall doesn't take the smell away. Otherwise a large room , good beds and a separate toilet. Small bathroom with an empty soap dispencer on the wall.... More

Ideal if you wish to visit the Cathedral, especially if going to the light show at night. 10 minute walk from Eurostar station. Right next to the Cathedral. Room was great, breakfast very good and staff really helpful.

This hotel is in the pedestrian area. Parking was at the nearby Place St Michel (free after 6pm and on Sundays and on Mondays till 1.30pm). Within a short walk from the railway station. The hotel is an old building which is quaint and lends charm - note no lift and fairly narrow stairs to the rooms on the first... More
