Once again this hotel was fine for our battlefield tour group. The one item that might be lacking is that breakfast did not include any hot food, only cold cuts etc. But other than that the hotel is good and it's close proximity to the Amiens Cathedral was very much appreciated by our guests, who could walk there in under... Stayed for five nights from 8th to 12th May 15. Allocated room overlooking the garden. We were not fussed about a Church view. Staff very pleasant & helpful both at Reception & bar area where we ate the "express breakfast" for 8 euro each - bit pricey for two slices of bread that could be toasted, butter, jam, orange juice+ hot... Dear Guests, Thank you for your full description of the hotel and the surroundings. I am happy that you enjoy your stay and you keep a good "souvenir" from Amiens, as you should have visited a lot of places during your whole travel in Europe. With my best regards, Anne D More

We stayed for 4 days as part of a Western Front Tour. The rooms were quite nice and very spacious, except for the tiny bathroom. We were there in early May and found the rooms to be quite stuffy and note that the air conditioning did not appear to be turned on. There was no change to the temperature regardless... More

Dear guest, Thank you to take time to post your comment, which disapointed me. You can be sure that I take those comments with high level of importance, and I take measures to be sure to improve our level of quality, which usualy is quiet good. I hope you will keep confidence in Accor hotels. With my best regards, Anne... More

We stayed in a privilege room but the room was very ordinary. Hotel rooms need a revamp. Orange carpet , orange bedhead ,orange bed cover need to go. The rooms could be improved at very little cost and this would make the rooms more appealing. Room cost us €200 per night and I found this overpriced. Front desk lady was... More

Having selected this apparently "esteemed" hotel chain back in September and paid for our accommodation, our travelling party arrived to confusion and incompetence. The explanation given for challenging our assertion that the accommodation had been booked and paid was that we could not prove our actions. Obviously they were reluctant to uphold their end of the bargain given we booked... More

Dear Guests, Your comment surprise me, that is true that we have a new software to work with and we are still a bit beginners with it, it takes more time to deal with it. I am very sorry if it take time to find your booking, and whatever the rate you booked, we always respect our engagment. I hope... More

The Mercure Amiens is low on charm and high on efficiency. My " privilege" rooms was large and bright and amenities included a bathrobe and slippers. The bathroom however was ridiculously small, and other details showed that the chain economizes everywhere. But the staff at the reception desk was very nice and I liked the restaurant: excellent breakfast and very... More

Stayed over the last three nights. We chose Amiens as a base for our visits to the WW1 memorial sites etc.Never having stayed in a Mecure hotel we were rather looking forward to it. The hotel is in a great cation near to the cathedral with restaurants nearby. Would recommend Chez Rosa which is an Italian just opposite the hotel as... More

3 nights in room 401 which is a suite overlooking the cathedral. Has a large balcony spacious room and good use of the spaces. For me the shower over bath is awkward I prefer separate shower and funny how the toilet is separate. King bed is comfy and a choose of pillows are provided. Breakfast is not worth the money... Dear Guest, Thank you for your comment. I am pleased you can enjoy the nice view from the terracce of your room. For breakfast, instead of the large hot buffet, you can also choose the Express breakfast for half price, if you don't need so much to eat in the morning. Be sure we take care to all your remarks... Ok, we're on a holiday and there's probably more quaint places to stay. But this place is close to the cathedral ( like 'spitting' distance) and a short walk from the town centre. However, it's supposed to be 4 star. And, admittedly, one of the big attractions of this chain is it's firmly aimed at the business traveller. But, if... More

Dear Sir, Thank you to take time to give your feelings about our hotel. If you comme back to visit us, you can choose a Privilège room, where you will find a coffee machine for Expresso, real cups to drink it. And anyway, you can always ask for glass or cup from the bar. With my best regards Anne D More
