Recently visited for a city break with a relative in poor health and the staff were exceptionally thoughtful and helpful. The location is excellent , just a few steps from the cathedral which at this time was lit up with the historical colours every night in full polychromy , spectacular. The breakfasts are varied and plentiful, the bar pleasant and... More

Stopped of on the way back to the Chunnel. Nice room overlooking the Cathedral. Clean and tidy as well as good value for money. Lovely breakfast to boot. Helpful receptionist. Carpark just around the corner also reasonably priced.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay in the Mercure Hotel Amiens. Our spotless clean 3rd floor room with Catherdral view had everything we needed including a coffee machine and a mini bar with free soft drinks. There were plenty of fluffy white towels each day and a number of useful toiletries. Breakfast offered a variety of both hot... More

We had a great view of the Cathederal from our window and what a view! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a few queries about the area and were assisted without hesitation. Our room was spacious, clean and tidy. There was plenty of robe space and most importantly the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful... More

To Amiens as a stopover on the way back from Brittany. We opted for the Mercure in the centre of Amiens and we are glad we did. A very professionally run hotel with slick (maybe) but very helpful service, nice rooms and large comfortable beds and wifi that works. Certainly good enough for Fc Stade Reims who were based there... More

We were originally booked into the Best Western Grand Hotel de L'Univers and what a disaster that place is. Stay well clear. Spend the extra 10-20€ and stay at the Mercure. The room was nice, bed comfy with a good mattress, restaurant/breakfast buffet was good. Probably wont go back to Amiens again, but if we did, we would stay there... More

I stayed at the mercury for a business trip this past July. Nothing special. No real ambiance. Hotel menu was disappointing and the three colleagues I was with agreed. We all left the restaurant after reviewing the menu in favor of a 5 minute walk to the restaurant area. Wise choice as there is real selection and choice in this... More

Dear guest, I am disapointed, that you didn't enjoy your stay as much. With all the team, we try to be helpful and friendly with all our guests. We use to give explanation and map to find the entrance of the parking nearby, and I'll check that we do it to everyone. In September, we change our menu to give... More

Stayed in top floor suite with balcony with excellent views of the cathedral and the stunning son et lumiere show. Very large and well-equipped suite -walk in bathroom and shower particularly impressive. Staff most helpful and able to speak English too

A trip as part of the WW1 Centenary events. Comfortable room with large bed, great view of the cathedral, decent breakfast, ghastly tea, pricey beer. Helpful staff. Formal group evening meal was very good.
