Possibly the noisiest room I've ever stayed in - & I was airline staff for 20 years so have plenty of hotel experience Easy to find almost opposite the station in Amiens - which is a beautiful city that we loved. I spent my final night of a 5 night mum & daughter trip here & it was by far... More

we used this for an overnight stay traveling from central France, the location in right in the center with beautiful restaurants and the cathedral 5 mins walk. The breakfast was excellent with great choice and even home cooked pastries. Only complaint is the bathroom is a bit tight so if your very tall you could have difficulties

I spent a night at the Hotel Central & Anzac in August 2014, booking online and paying 40 Euros for a single room with a double bed. Breakfast (which I didn't have) was available for an additional 7.50 Euros. I was most warmly welcomed on arrival. My room was on the first floor overlooking the main street; the sound-proofing, however,... More

Stayed here for initial 2 nights but extended to 4 with my elderly father and two small children. The accommodation is basic, but clean sheets, soap available and breakfast that sets you up for the day. Traditional French hospitality and parking right outside not a problem - about 2oom from train station.

We were on a bike trip around the Somme battlefield. A group of ten on nine bikes. We were scattered about the hotel. It cost €5 a night to park in the big yard belonging to the hotel next door. The family that run the Anzac were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good with loads of choice. All in... More

As part of a of a whirlwind trip we figured the Anzac would be a good stopover for three of our party who hadn't visited France before. We were looking for a traditional French hotel rather than one of the chain hotels, and the Anzac certainly fitted the bill. This of course brings the usual pros and cons - I'm... More

Stayed here for ANZAC Day ceremony and it did the job. Walls are thin, floor creaks, no elevator and shoddy shower but rooms are clean, WiFi is free and the staff are lovely. It is so close to the train station and main city area that it really is a good hotel if you want something inexpensive.

This is a good hotel for an overnight stay or pied-à-terre in Amiens. The owners are very friendly and helpful (offering us a sample of their home baked macaroons upon check-in) and were ready to help with information and advice. Rooms are simple and old fashioned but comfortable; there is Wifi. Breakfast is standard fare but good. If you are... More

60 and travelling alone, this place was easy to find, close to the station and walking distance to the major sites I wanted to see. Very friendly lady at reception and a fantastic breakfast. Bed was comfortable and the shared facilities were clean and uncrowded. My two night stay was very comfortable.

Handily located between the railways station and the cathedral, the Central Anzac gave us a warm and helpful welcome. The lady on reception kindly let us conduct the transaction in French when we said we were keen to practise the language! She was very helpful indeed. We took one of the inexpensive and non-en suite rooms, which was small but... More
