We've just spent two weeks at the Clarys Plage in a Eurocamp "comfort" mobile home. This is the first time that we have tried this type of holiday but it seemed to be the ideal solution to taking a 20 month old child on holiday. Just returned from 8 days at Clarys Plage. Mobile home was great (booked direct with Charles Alexander) which was £200 cheaper than Eurocamp, Keycamp and Canvas holidays. Le Clarys Plage is just outside St Jean de Monts in the Vendee, France. Getting there: We took the Ferry from Portsmouth to St Malo which was enjoyable and meant we only had 150 miles to drive in France. booked through eurosites to stay at clarys plage, on first occassion was a tent with our three children then changed the following year and stayed in mobile home. the site comprises of shower toilet block which was kept spotless by the one cleaner. the tents were kitted out with eveything you needed and if you did require any further items... more
