This hotel has nothing to do with the hotel shown on their own website. The reception is mostly closed. The back door is open all night. The inside of the building and the rooms looks like something bottomclass, East-Germany back in the 1980:ies. This hotel was the only one that was a big dissappointment on our 15-hotel tour. Stay away!... more

This is a very basic hotel. Just two floors with 2 to 4 bed rooms. No lounge, tv room, etc. There is a restaurant next door that serves basic dinners and breakfast (7 euros, just continental). The rooms have some tired beds. Bathroom has a bathtub, no real shower (not even a hook for the 'telephone style' shower. No elevator... more

We didn't expect much from this hotel, given the pictures and the other reviews, so we weren't disappointed. We chose it for the price range and for its proximity to Mont Saint-Michel. Service was minimal and the rooms were not exactly spotless. It was ok for 1 night stay. If you go to the Mont during non-peak months (we went... more

The okay: Good location if you don't want to be on the rock. Clean. Perhaps relatively cheap. Didn't check the (many) nearby chambres d'hote. They would probably be more reasonable and include breakfast. The bad: Tired, dated, extremely basic property with stains on walls and fixtures and back-aching mattresses. Front desk closes at something like 7 a.m. and doesn't re-open... more

The hotel was adequate for our needs. We were only staying one night and planned to be out of our room sight-seeing or trying out the local cuisine. I would have been very dissapointed if we wanted more. The front desk was not occupied most of the time, making it difficult to get any information or get a hairdryer (we... more

We booked our hotel thru planigo.com. We originally wanted Hotel de la digue which we found on Rick Steve's France 2007. The planigo told us that the Hotel de la digue was sold out and we can have a room at the Hotel St. Aubert instead. When I checked Tripadvisor, there were 1 positive reivew so we decided to give... more

We were passing the restaurant, and decided to pop in. Their were 2 families in total. The meal was quite well priced (the drinks were very expensive, which i suppose is where they make thier money and we actually felt cheated into being their). Worst service we have ever received in France. It was so bad that we actually left... more

Picked this hotel because of the location. Wanted to be near but not on site (didn't want to fight luggage on the ramparts, etc) We spent 2 nites here and found it small but very efficient. Liked the large bathroom, but would have liked a shower. Room was on the parking lot side and very noisy, but then quieted down... more

After wandering through the Normandy D-day sites, we were delighted to find warm staff and wonderful food at the adjoining restaurant of this hotel. We felt doted upon and were refreshed. This hotel is a short drive down the road from the abbey town of Mont St. Michel. This proximity provided us with a quick start the next morning arriving... more

Hotel Saint Aubert is situated about one kilometre from the causeway going out to the island of Mont Saint Michel (which is not what the weblink map implies), so it's 2km from the island itself, about a 1/2 hour walk. It is located next to several other hotels and a little supermarket. The rooms were perfectly comfortable with a decent-sized... more
