Our room is small and dreary. It overlooks the canal and the carriage road. But there is no ventilation or air conditioning so we must keep the door open affording us no privacy. It almost spoils the wonderful experience of visiting this delightful place. However, from the looks of the surroundings, I'm not sure any of the hotels are any... More

This hotel is in the perfect location to view Mont. St. Michel. Upon arrival we were greeted by the nicest woman at the front desk, Marie, and we knew by her greeting and upon seeing the room, this would be a terrific place for us to stay. The rooms are very comfortable and the view is great. But, at the... More

Stayed one night, got a room overlooking the canal; consequently it was quiet and if we leaned over the balcony and looked left we could see the Mount lit up at night. The super market across the street is no more. It is now a mixed shopping store with groceries and souvenirs. There is a also a sandwich snack bar... More

Room is quiet large. Got bath. Toilet is separate from shower. Lots of places to store luggage. Very very comfortable bed. Rooms is very clean and superb (dont be deceived by the old looking outside building) Got a cool balcony over looking the river and St Michael du mont. Got funky electronic to control blind on balcony. Staff and services... More

We stayed here for one night while visiting Mont St Michel. Our room was very small but comfortable and we enjoyed an excellent night's sleep. Dinner was outstanding and worthy of a gastronomic restaurant. Breakfast is a buffet with a good range of options. The staff were helpful and professional. Highly recommended.

We had one night to spend an Mont-St-MIchel at this hotel. The best part of staying here was its on-sight parking (must be arranged in advance, otherwise you need to park in a public lot and bus over to the hotel). Next best thing was its 3-minute proximity to a shuttle stop for the shuttle to Mont.St-Michel (cannot drive there)... More

Room was very small (end of the bed was 4 inches from the wall) and unclean. It was apparent that hotel maids had rummaged through luggage in the closet while cleaning. Hotel restaurant closed early because the large tour groups staying at the hotel had eaten early. Wi-fi did not work in the room. At checkout, we were charged double... More

This hotel is perfectly located, it takes about 20min on foot to get to the Mont St Michel or you can use the free bus. Member of Staffs at the reception desk were very helpful. We cannot comment on the breakfast as we did not take it. however, we had dinner there and the food was good. Free WiFi, clean... More

Many tourists arrive at MSM early in the day and depart by afternoon for other places in Brittany or Normandy. However, if you arrive late morning as we did (bus from St. Malo) and you do not want to rush through MSM, and are looking for a nearby place to stay overnight, then Le Relais du Roy is a good...
