For €88 per person per night, you get a room stay, dinner and breakfast all included. The room comes with a great view of the bay to watch the tide. Unfortunately, when we were there, there wasn't much tide but we could hear the waters rushing in the morning and sounds of seagulls. Hotel is easy to find, it's along... More

However without A/C it is very noisy in the am as everything is ferried over and unloaded in the wee hours. Beds left something to be desired. The shower was so tiny that you couldn't turn around in it. Restaurant was great though.

Save your money up and and stay here for a night, it was an unforgettable experience. We had two rooms for a family of five, both with views that let us watch the tide come in. The Mont itself deserves every accolade it gets. My kids picked up dozens of long-lasting itchy bug bites over night, but I'm not sure... More

Utterly charming staff at this gen if an hotek went to real trouble to store our bikes and look after our luggage for us. The room was cosy and the view over the estuary and salt marshes was superb - as was the easy access to the island ramparts. Baths restaurant was good too (an lovely dining room and charming... The room was fine and reasonably priced, but the real appeal is you'll wake up in the morning with the island to yourself. I got up at 7am, and walked pretty much everywhere and saw two other tourists. The light was perfect for photography. A nice bonus was the view of the Abbey from our window.

I wanted to stay on the Mont overnight and your choices are limited. This seemed to be the least expensive choice. Our room was small, but very adequate. We had a wonderful view of the mud flats and walls from our window. The entrance is a little confusing, but ask at the counter. The Mont is wonderful at night after... More

If you go to Mont Saint Michel stay over night and choose Hotel Du Guesclin! Not a long walk up the hill makes it a plus but it's the staff that makes it an A+!! In addition to location, being the only family run hotel on the island and the price also made it appealing----We were not disappointed. Although we... More

a small room with an enormous view of the bay. The English speaking staff was a warm, friendly and very helpful group. Perfectly located, not high on the mountain, easily accessible from the shuttle, and the most beautiful restaurant on the island. I'd go back in a minute.

After a morning visiting Mont St Michel Abbey we called in here for lunch. Lovely dining room with panoramic view of the bay. We chose the 16 euro 2 course menu which included a glass of wine and were delighted with the value for money. I chose the Mont St Michel soufflé omelette followed by camembert and green salad while... More

At first, we felt concerned as correspondence with this hotel appeared delayed. Once we got there, we understood. This Hotel (I believe) is one of the few family run places. They also run their restaurant as well, so their hands are busy non stop. While simple, we were delighted with the outdated yet super clean accommodations. The incredible silence on... More
