Our room was not in the main hotel but quite a ways up the hill and up multiple stairs close to the Abbey's cemetary. The room was great, quiet and relaxing. To enjoy the abbey at night once the majority of the crowds have left is great. Beautiful and breathtaking scenery surround you. The staff was friendly and helpful but... More

We stayed at the logis a few steps above the hotel. This place is a bit expensive for the quality of services but the best part is that you get to enjoy the Mont Saint Michel almost for yourself when all the day crowds are gone. Food was good and staff was friendly. Although they have free wifi it wasn't... More

We spent one night on the island. We had 2 of the Fisherman cottage rooms. One overlooked the bay area and one just faced the sidewalk. They both were wonderful. The rooms were clean. The beds were very comfortable. The shower and toilet rooms were separate which was very nice. We had a towel warmer in the bathroom. One room... More

We expected a small, quaint room, which is what we had. It was sufficient and had all of the items we expected, except for washcloths. Thank goodness for the Rick Steve's wash 'n' dry washcloths, I had no problems. However, the staff is brusque and obviously don't want to be bothered with lodgers. The manager, who was irritated with the... More

Mont St Michel is a truly magical place, and an overnight stay is a must do. We spent one night here, enough, and it was a highlight of our trip to France. There are a mix bag of review about Saint-Pierre, it is expensive for sure, but we thought it was great and worth every penny as a total experience.... More

We really wanted to stay on MSM because we wanted to be able to experience it late at night and early in the morning without the crowds. MSM is one of the more spectacular monuments in the world and we didn't want to rush in and then rush out. With that being said, we liked Auberge St. Pierre. It is... More

We stayed for one night to experience Mont St Michel after the crowds had gone. That was a mistake! Apart from the beautiful abbey and views, there is nothing but commercialised rubbish. Much better to arrive early or late and go straight up to the abbey giving restaurants, shops and hotels a miss. Having said all that, our rooms at... More

We had a wonderful night here. We chose room 416 as recommended by other travellers. It is just perfect, lovely patio outside for your sole use, beautiful view. Don't forget travel light, there are steps and crowds to get here. The room itself is very quiet and tucked away from the hoards. Reception great and very helpful.

We spent one night on Mont St. Michel. We stayed in the room for 4 with our two teens. The room, several streets away from reception, was clean and comfortable, and not too small. The bathroom was very small, as expected. The seagulls were noisy, especially early in the morning. It was nice to be able to go into the... More

We found this to be one of the most special nights we spent in France. We just stayed one night, but I wanted my kids to really be able to experience Mont St. Michel. We all loved it so much! The room was small, but we knew that going in. There were two queen sized beds in the room, but... More
