Nice room with an incredible view. Yes, you can stay off th island and get more for less. That is not the point. Once the crowd has left, you can take you time and stroll the lanes. If you want to experience this spot on your own terms, stay on the island. Room itself was nice, not big. Good bathroom... More

We were really disappointed in our stay at Auberge Saint-Pierre. The room is ridiculously expensive, there is no breakfast included, and you have to pay for parking off of Le Mont, which we didn't learn about until the day of leaving - in the emails we received from them it looked as if that was part of the price of... The views form the island are breathtaking ! We had a wonderful room . It was small with no air conditioning but quite comfortable . We there in May so not having air conditioning was no problem. It was so interesting to walk the small walkways throughout the island. Don't miss theis wonderful chance to live history . There are... More

I have stayed in this hotel in September, 2013 with my husband and we agree with every review that states that if you are going to visit the Mont you need to stay in the island for the night. The peace of the island after the tourists have left is unforgettable, as also the view of the Mont at night... More

If you're going to stay at Mont-St Michel, you MUST stay on the island. It may be a little pricier; however, it is definitely worth it. The Auberge Saint-Pierre has units peppered throughout the island and is the best place to experience life after tourists leave. Walking around the rock at night is quite an experience. If you're into walking... More

After a lot of research we decided to stay in Mont-St-Michel and I'm glad we did. Yes, the hotels cost more there but it's such a unique experience. After the tourists leave around sundown you have the place to yourself and you can just feel the history as you walk through the cobblestone alleys. We enjoyed "Auberge Saint-Pierre". It was... More

My wife and I have had a visit to Mont-St-Michel high on our must-see list for many years, so when it was finally time to plan our trip, we were determined to get the most out of it by staying on the island itself, if we could. We are very glad we did, but I don't think we fully understood... More

My two friends and I booked a quadruple room here, out of season and had such a lovely stay. The staff were friendly and it was so ideal being on the 'island', we were within walking distance of everything, close to the abbey (whose bells only chime during the day) and the room was just beautiful, quaint and very warm.... If you can book this place, meaning it's actually available, do it. It fills up quick for good reason. It's a bit of a hike to get to (so is everything there). The rooms are very cute. Large bathroom. Hot water. They have cable, wifi & a generous mini bar. Most importantly the views are fantastic. Service was excellent, they... More
