We returned to Mont St. Michel - we had been twice before and fell in love with the place on our first visit. We can't fault Le Mouton Blanc - despite the fact that it's depicted as only a 2 star hotel, it should be far higher in our opinion! We were made very welcome by the lovely lady on... More

Le Mouton Blanc might be a very good choice if you absolutely want to stay on the island, but in my opinion you are better off picking a hotel that is right next to the island, consider that there are free shuttles running till late back and forth from the island ot the street with all the hotels and restaurants.... This hotel deserves more than the 2 star rating. The room was comfortable and clean. The restaurant food was delicious and the breakfast was bountiful and good. Our only complaint was the wifi did not work in the annex rooms, however we used the breakfast room upstairs after dinner where the wifi was excellent. Staying on the Mont is the... More

When searching for accommodation on the island, not a lot came up however there seem to be a decent amount of hotels available once you go exploring. Our room was a bit further up from the actual hotel reception, it was small but quiet. The bathroom is a tiny and shower head holder was broken so was a bit awkward... More

We asked for a quiet room. At 5am, thousands of glass bottles were being dumped into recycling right in front of our window and garbage men were yelling loudly. This incredible noise went on for over an hour. Then all the forklifts came up and down the street and now still making incredible noise at 7:30am. It is like a... More

We did not have a lot of choices in Mont Saint Michel. This hotel provided good enough accommodation. There is steep ladder and a lot of steps. We left our luggage in a car and took only small day-pack; and we were glad we did this. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. For example, after 10pm restaurant kitchen... More

Plunk your money down and take your chances. If you win, you get one of the beautifully-appointed rooms in the main building, which feature wooden beams, leaded windows and cozy medieval charm. If you lose, you get stuck in the Annex, a run-down series of cramped rooms with stains on the walls, broken WiFi, shoddy patch jobs, decor reminiscent of... More

Walking up the cobbled main street on the Mont you are transported back in time to the age of monks and peasants and knights. I stayed in a front room on the first floor with wooden shutters and wooden trim throughout. Beautiful windows with diamond glass looked out onto the cobbled street below. The room itself and ensuite bathroom complete... More

Hotel mouton blanc modern bathroom, we stayed at the top floor with view to the abbey (surprisingly) pretty hotel pretty room, not tiny, keep in mind old building though, I mean hundreds of years old, but nice, friendly staff, must request parking code by calling in advance, park on lot 3 and take free shuttle, location is amazing a minute... Le Mouton Blanc is not your ordinary hotel as its on the Mount at La Mont-St- Michel in France based right on the main street however very busy its has stunning views if you ask for a sea view room, the hotel is only a 2 star but the experience of staying on the mount is worth its high price....
