I use them because after driving considerable distances across France I just need shower and then a meal in the restaurant without the bother of trying to find a decent eating place in a strange place. I... More

We booked this in the hope it was going to be a great first night with a perfect restaurant. Not so. The owner checked us into a minimal, stark room and then disappeared! From then on out we had no contact with anyone and felt we were the only ones in the building! When we went down to try and... More

We stayed in a family room with two single beds for our daughters in the roof eaves separated by a curtain. The breakfast was good,... More

I find hotels at the sea side are always poor and overpriced because they have the location. I chose this auberge because it was not on the coast and I was very pleased with my stay there. Sophie and the other staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room I had was basic but very adequate. My only problem was... More

Stayed here with a couple of friends on a cycling weekend in Normandy. Hotel is on a ridge and required a good up-hill cycle to get there but worth the effort. We were pleased to see the hotel when we arrived! Attractive looking building set in very pleasant green gardens. We were able to leave our bikes in a locked... More

This hotel is on the route de la Corniche but is quite difficult to find when approaching from Houlgate: it is almost in the next village. It is easier to find when coming in from the other direction, from Auberville. Although on the Corniche there is no sign of the sea, which is some distance away. Our room, beatifully re-decorated...
