The Grand hotel is where the French author Marcel Proust stayed every summer until 1914. However, the hotel has been renovated several times since then. Lovely old hotel with Proustian connections - right on sea front at Cabourg. We had a sea-view room just down the corridor from M Proust's. Lovely views across a wide horizon.
