The hotel does look tired and a bit shabby when you arrive but having checked in we found that our allocated room was basic but very clean. That evening we decided to have a meal in the restaurant as it looked nice enough. Very disappointed when a Luke warm portion of pasta and mince arrived which had been immediately preceded... More

Comfortable stop over on our way to UK for Christmas, obliging staff when I asked to change room for one with parking in front as we had a lot of luggage in the car. We had our two biggish dogs with us and there was no problem with them, plenty of grass outside to walk them. Our only critique would... More

We have visited this hotel about 4 times a year for the past 4 years. It has been updated once in that time and has always been a nice comfortable place to stay. This visit we decided we would have to look for somewhere else. The restaurant menu remains the same the whole year and gets very boring. The buffet... More

This is the worst place I have ever ever stayed in! Butlins chalet with no work done ever! Everything about it is awful, pay the extra 10€ and stay somewhere else! I don't know where to start, woodchip on the walls and ceiling, floor not just scratched but defaced, dirty, old, smelly such a shame it was our last night... More

The location of this hotel is disappointing being stuck in the middle of an industrial estate. We arrived on August 24th 2013 at the end of a long drive. The hotel is advertised as budget which it is. The rooms are reasonably priced, small, functional and clean. Not wishing to drive anymore that day and there being no local restaurants... More

The hotel was an ideal overnight stop for us on our journey to the southern end of the Vendee. It is very close to the autoroute and the rooms are clean, comfortable with good air con. I had booked eight rooms for our party and the hotel had handled the booking well from the outset without any fuss. Upon arrival... More

Quiet rooms, air conditioning, good showers, good parking, friendly and helpful staff - perfect! Also easy to find off the autoroute. Would definitely recommend. Rooms a little pricey at 80 euros each but worth it just for the air con!

Used as an overnight stop on the way to and back from the Dordogne. Easy to find from AutoRoute. Room was clean with very comfortable beds.Air con very effective. Park outside room so no long walk with luggage.Only problem was small towels in bathroom. Staff were efficient and friendly. Evening meal and wine good value and better than you would... More

You get exactly what you need for an overnight-- In an industrial estate so you wouldn't stay longer. Staff very pleasant- breakfast good- dinner reasonable for the price. Would happily stay there again when breaking the journey

Needed an overnight stop on the way to Cherbourg, and chose the Campanile because I'd stayed at another previously. This is not a good advert for them. The place was shabby. Uneven paving outside the room, which was shabby, and had paint peeling off, although the bedding was first class. The dinner menu seemed to consist of BURGERS! --in FRANCE??!... More
