Like most Brits, stopped here as convenient for motorway. €91 Euros for a room for two without breakfast. That was €11 each so would have been €113 for B&B if we had took the option. We declined breakfast and instead stopped at the Alencon service station a couple of Kms along the motorway for a cheaper option. The Hotel is... More

Very good hotel if you want to stop on the road from Calais to the West Coast. The hotel has been refurbished to a high standard and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant next to the hotel but it is closed on Monday. There is a shopping centre and supermarket close by if you wish to... More

The room was clean and there were tea and coffee making facilities, which are always a bonus in France. The lighting in the room was strange as you had to have the main light on in order to put the light on in the bathroom, which can make it difficult if you need to use the bathroom during the night.... The quality of this hotel has deteriorated over the past few years. The bedrooms and bathrooms could do with refreshing and a general makeover. We would only ever use it as a stopover and on the next occasion we will look for an alternative in Alencon or another town as a stopover point. Very few staff were on duty either... More

The room was spacious and clean with tea and coffee making facilities which can be quite unusual in France. We had stayed at the hotel previously and really enjoyed the dinner at the adjacent restaurant. We ate there again and the food was good but there was only another couple in there therefore it lacked atmosphere. Would recommend hotel and... More

Stopped on the way to South France, easy to find just out of the centre up from the local hypermarket. Quad room was spacious and trendy with tea and coffee facilities. Didn't have dinner but breakfast was great and saved us time on the journey onward. Would recommend as despite a stopover place it had a friendly welcoming atmosphere.

On the jaunt down to the middle or south of France we always stop in Alençon. Usually at the Hotel du Paris but it was closed for annual holiday. I am an Accord card holder and so we booked in here. We arrived with two friends and very early in the afternoon. The staff could not have been more helpful.... More
