The Hotel was situated beside a Motorway which at the time of our visit was quiet it was basic and very clean. On the Buffet table there was a notice asking people to use the tray as a mat instead of using the table which had white covers on, to save washing the tablecloths. This was an economy drive. The Hotel... More

If you insist on 4 or 5 star accommodation then stay somewhere else but as a base for a coach tour of the WW1 battlefields it was perfectly fine in most respects. Nothing to do in the hotel or local area but the room on the second floor was a good size and relatively comfortable. Haven't slept in a single... More

This is a basic but perfectly adequate hotel in an industrial location just off the main road, but with very easy access to 4 or 5 restaurants (Buffalo Grill, Courte Paille, McDonalds, Crocodile to name the ones I saw). Everything was clean and tidy. There is a very small but functional bar (just an extension of the reception desk, staffed... More

A fairly newly built hotel, I stayed here for 3 nights as part of a Newmarket Holidays trip to the WW1 Battlefields tour. As has been mentioned before, the breakfast is a little basic, but adequate. My room was fairly basic, as you would expect from this level of hotel, the bed was surprisingly comfortable though. As with most European... More

Avoid Room 37!! Directly adjacent to the slip road off the LiIle motorway with traffic lights almost outside the window. Hence the window had to be closed all night to reduce the noise( which it didn't!) and made the room heat up like an oven!!

Stayed with a group visiting the battlefields of WW1. Although the bedroom was clean it was very bare and austere with the thinnest, greyest, smallest towels ever.A room overlooking the main road was very noisy. The most disappointing aspect was the breakfast. The choice was cornflakes, cold eggs and bread! No croissants, fruit or yoghurt. One of the poorest breakfasts we have ever... More

Was a bit concerned when I read reviews before going, but was pleasantly surpassed by friendly staff, clean rooms, with showers and separate toilets. Our room on second floor was quiet, despite proximity to main road. Breakfast which comprised bread, cereals, jam, tea, coffee, fruit juice, was sufficient. Enjoyed evening meals at Crocodile 5 mins up road on two nights.... More

We as a party of 60 persons used this hotel on the battlefields tour. Staff very helpful and room is clean nice bed and basic. Just what I wanted. Good night's sleep was had by me better than some English chains I stay in. Down side is no tea or coffee in room. But I don't drink it anyway at... More

Used the hotel on a coach trip to the Battlefields of World War 1 for 3 nights. The hotel was extremely good value and provided everything you could want on a short trip holiday. The hotel and rooms were very cleanful with helpful and attentive staff. The towels were changed twice during the 3 days. The continental breakfast was adequate... More

Budget hotel, similar to UK ones. This one was a basic twin room, nice large bathroom but the beds seemed a bit on the small side. There are no tea making facilities, we took our own. Breakfast consists of bread eggs (cold) cereals and jam, tea coffee and juice. But there is a McDonald's a five min walk away. There... More
