A good value hotel in an ideal location in Maubeuge. Close to the city centre and train station. Rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable. The continental breakfast is good albeit nothing 'fancy'. Overall a good place for a short stay.

Stayed only one night in this hotel. Reception was friendly. The decor of the room was sober but the room was equipped with a very good new bathroom. Bed was good. The interior was clean. The breakfast buffet had everything you could wish. Next time I will take the IBIS.

I spent a night at the Ibis Maubeuge just before Mardi Gras because I was going to Binche in Belgium the next day (about 25 kilometers away) for the huge carnival. I can't say that I really visited Maubeuge because I got there rather late (5 p.m.) and it was already getting dark. First I had to hike a very... More

The hotel is the best in Maubeuge, but unfortunately that says more about Maubeuge than the hotel. The hotel is wedged between the bus station and the train station. So you either wake up at 0530 by buses starting up under your window, or by the trains arriving. Rooms are standard IBIS rooms, so if you like them there is... More

I have been staying at the Ibis for a couple of years and it is still good. The staff are excellent nothing is to much trouble, they make you very welcome. The rooms are ok but the wooden floors noisy if you drop anything. There is no restaurant but there is an excellent restaurant across the street. The rooms at... More

Why would anyone wish to stay here ? I have been coming here due to a business relationship in the area, and I swear this will be the last visit ever. The hotel is only just over a year old and already is tired and filthy, the rooms absolutely stink of cigarettes, the shower is caked in mould and dirt... More

We stayed two nights at a week -end and found the room ,which overlooked the railway ,quiet and we liked the design which afforded plenty of space. An excellent walk in shower was much appreciated. Access to the town was easy and it's a pleasant place with some nice shops. Being a week-end breakfast was quiet and there was a... More
