We don't appreciate being lied to. This highly overrated dump is in a dreadful, rough part of the outskirts of Cambrai. The hotel was very hard to find, and there were two weddings in full flow when we arrived. We were disappointed to find that the standard room we had booked was actually a scruffy chalet 200m away from the chateau - there's nothing on the hotels.com website to tell you this when you are booking, nor on the booking confirmation.... more

The good news is that the hotel has lovely public rooms; it is a grand chateau. The breakfast was also very good. However, the bad news very much outweighs the good news.
