Fantastic hotel in lovely setting, rooms clean comfortable and a touch of luxury. Only down side was the terrible service in the restaurant, the waiter lacked common courtesy skills and was brusque verging on downright rude. That aside would highly recommend.

We booked this hotel 10 minutes before arriving on booking.com staff were very friendly , we had a dog so the grounds are great for walking. Breakfast was very good for France there was even some ham !! . The restaurant downstairs was good although the beer was a bit pricey, service was good. Room was nice nothing fancy but... More

Improve the rooms in the orangerie, improve the menu (the main course was good, but the apetizer and the dessert were not!). The room in the orangerie was really basic, small and with not very nice furniture. It did not have WIFI.

We found this fab hotel on our way back from Holland late in the day. We arrived after 8.30pm. Reception was friendly and quick. Room was great and the best was dinner. The restaurant was not busy, the service was great and food excellent. Best thing was we discovered "drink in tube" a new innovation which is happening in France.... More

The hotel is situated in the back streets of Cambrai. We chose this hotel because of the featured restaurant and secure parking. Neither was as advertised. We had a smile at reception. No offer to take our bag up two flights of stairs. The room was large, but we up had graded. The furniture did not represent the nature of the... More

This was our third visit to the Chateau and I'm not sure we'll be going back. We have stayed because it is conveniently en route for us through France on business. There are only 3 rooms worth staying in and they are on the first floor facing out the back, the best is Versailles, any other rooms are pokey and... More

We passed this hotel during a tour through France. The location was not that easy to find. First impression during entrance was wauw ... Reception was good. Our room (in orangerie) was disappointing (old, small, bit smell), the room of our tripmate (in the chateau) looked much better. We had not the opportunity to take profit from the park. Dinner... Was a bit unsure after booking if done the right thing...reading the part if going through a council estate to get to it...come on has those readers ever seen a council estate in Manchester? They were a few small blocks of apartments...anyway the chateau from the outside impressive ...staff very friendly ...breakfast was continental as expected and lots of choice... More

We stayed in the 'Chateau' in a so called deluxe room which smelt overwhelmingly musty & damp, in fact the whole place smelt like this. The surrounding area was not particularly pretty and the Chateau and other buildings were run down and in need of investment. I would strongly suggest that the owners stop taking peoples money and start updating... More

When one has arrived!!! Room number 9 is just splendid with high ceilings, 4 sets of double windows beautifully draped in lush fabric, a king size bed, gorgeous contemporary bathroom with bath, and separate loo. The views from the windows are stunning looking over the grounds to the rear of the chateau. Magnificent trees watch over the parkland in majestic... More
