What can I say, this château is amazing full of character and reasonably priced. It sits in magnificent grounds with superb rooms ( we were in the orangei ) we decided to eat in the cellar restaurant and that too was a great as was breakfast .

Stayed here for one night and were accommodated in the Orangery. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious although was a little tired. Staff were very good, accommodated our every need. Our evening meal taken in the vaulted brick cellar of the Chateau was superb. Food was excellent quality and had obviously been cooked with passion and a desire to... More

The chateau is very impressive at first sight, but then you notice the cracked steps and internal decor which needs some TLC. we stayed in the Orangrie. Room looked onto trees and canal and was very dark. However room description did state it was north facing. We had dinner in resturant and my Bavatte of beef was so tough I... More

Tranquility, atmosphere and snobby head waiter. We spent one night here and dine at the chateau, as recommended in other reviews. The room was classified as “Double room – Deluxe” and was spacious with a beautiful view of the park through the somewhat small window. Cleaning could have been better. The bin had not been emptied from previous guest, we... More

The chateau is full of character. Our prestige room was large and had great views of the surrounding park. The decoration, furnishings etc throughout were high quality. The biggest disappointment was that the staff seemed unwilling to provide any sort of service one would expect of a hotel of this standard. It proved impossible to have a hot drink in... More

You expect a Chateau to be slightly grander inside than this. It could do with some refurbishment and a little upgrade, but it was perfectly comfortable and pre dinner drinks in the fabulous sitting room was a nice touch. I asked for house wine and was given 2 x 50 euro bottles. They may have been the house wine, but... More

Fantastic hotel in lovely setting, rooms clean comfortable and a touch of luxury. Only down side was the terrible service in the restaurant, the waiter lacked common courtesy skills and was brusque verging on downright rude. That aside would highly recommend.

We booked this hotel 10 minutes before arriving on booking.com staff were very friendly , we had a dog so the grounds are great for walking. Breakfast was very good for France there was even some ham !! . The restaurant downstairs was good although the beer was a bit pricey, service was good. Room was nice nothing fancy but... More

Improve the rooms in the orangerie, improve the menu (the main course was good, but the apetizer and the dessert were not!). The room in the orangerie was really basic, small and with not very nice furniture. It did not have WIFI.

We found this fab hotel on our way back from Holland late in the day. We arrived after 8.30pm. Reception was friendly and quick. Room was great and the best was dinner. The restaurant was not busy, the service was great and food excellent. Best thing was we discovered "drink in tube" a new innovation which is happening in France.... More
