The main house, an imposing chateau in pleasant grounds a little too close for comfort to social housing for us, feels just that bit tired but the service at reception and in the classy restaurant was excellent. We slept in the Orangerie which was ordinary but probably better value(cheaper!) than the chateau itself and we left after breakfast feeling unsure... More

We stayed for one night on route to Belgium. We were in the orangery which is a separate section to the main house. There was a stale odour through out this area. The bed was a small double bed and the room was clean & tidy. Bathroom had a bath. Grounds appeared well cared for. We did not eat breakfast here.... More

We stop here whenever we travel from or to the Alpes (or even further from Greece) to the UK, but I don't think I've ever reviewed it. We always arrive here about 7 or 8pm, and after a day in the car it's great to be able to let the dogs have a wander in the private park, where the... More

Stayed for one night above the orangerie, very comfy beds, we were given twin beds even though we booked a double but this didn't bother us enough to complain. Very pretty building but for us the food offered on site was not to our taste, so ate elsewhere in Cambrai.

This interesting hotel is worth staying in because of its history. The service is impeccable, and the decor very traditional. The rooms are spacious although a little tired, but the whole concept is spot-on. The views to the rear of the property are superb. My only concern is that a rather oppressive council estate has developed around the entrance. This... More

We stayed here for one night on our travels through France. The room was comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. There is a lovely restaurant on site with very good food but it is rather on the expensive side. There are lovely grounds around the hotel to wander around and there is plenty of parking. A peaceful and tranquil... More

What can I say, this château is amazing full of character and reasonably priced. It sits in magnificent grounds with superb rooms ( we were in the orangei ) we decided to eat in the cellar restaurant and that too was a great as was breakfast .

Stayed here for one night and were accommodated in the Orangery. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious although was a little tired. Staff were very good, accommodated our every need. Our evening meal taken in the vaulted brick cellar of the Chateau was superb. Food was excellent quality and had obviously been cooked with passion and a desire to... More

The chateau is very impressive at first sight, but then you notice the cracked steps and internal decor which needs some TLC. we stayed in the Orangrie. Room looked onto trees and canal and was very dark. However room description did state it was north facing. We had dinner in resturant and my Bavatte of beef was so tough I... More

Tranquility, atmosphere and snobby head waiter. We spent one night here and dine at the chateau, as recommended in other reviews. The room was classified as “Double room – Deluxe” and was spacious with a beautiful view of the park through the somewhat small window. Cleaning could have been better. The bin had not been emptied from previous guest, we... More
