Where to start, when I first arrived there was no water in the first room, moved to another. Best thing I could think of was the rooms were clean, it stops there. Bathroom was in serious need of a renovation, furniture was rusty and the tiles had very in need of re-grouting. The carpet tiles were poorly fitted and had... More

It's obvious that the owners have spent a lot of money refitting this hotel. Unfortunately it's all been spent downstairs in the public areas - restaurant, bar and lounge, which are all superb and obviously where they make most of their revenue. But the same can't be said of the bedrooms, which are at best tired. In some cases plain... More

We had the most expensive room in the Hotel. God knows what the cheaper ones were like !! Drab, in severe need of a refit, not very clean. Shower didn't fit into shower-holder. Towels like a Cheese-grater etc etc

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for one night following a festival nearby. We arrived after a 15 mile walk and were greeted by a very well presented hotel. Happy to just be in a room with a bed we were surprised by a large room with a pleasant blue decor with a large bathroom with a separate... More

Very well located near the train station and the old centre the hotel was an obvious choice for us - some of us visited stay there 15 years ago. The hotel is not bad but has clear opportunities to improve: rooms, service, general atmosphere. Le Mouton Blanc has the history, the location, the name and the looks from the outside,... More

we stayed there one night and everything about the stay was fine apart from the food. The room was clean eith a lovely retro 70's bathroom, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the breakfast was reasonable-if a bit pricey- but the food in the restaurant,oh dear, unbelievably bad especially for a 3-star hotel. My advice would be to stay in the hotel but eat... My wife and I stayed at Le Mouton Blanc for the weekend as we wanted a centrally located hotel and were hooked by the positive review about this hotel's restaurant. We both love French cuisine and we weren't disappointed. We chose to eat in the lovely dining room on both nights and the food and service are excellent. Unfortunately the... More

The best thing about this hotel is definitely the food. The breakfast is French - bread, croissants, jam, fruit, yogurt, and tea or coffee, but it is generous and all of excellent quality. But it is the hotel restaurant which in my opinion should DEFINITELY be considered a destination. The food is just amazing. I think it could easily get... More
