I cannot see how others are saying this hotel is renovated or recently decorated. Our room would have appeared old fashioned in the seventies, the only modern touch being the flat panel tv situated so highly on the wall only a giraffe could watch it comfortably. We were staying in a double room with our own cot for our 18 month old who couldn't sleep due to the noise coming from every attached room, the walls must be made of the anaglypta you can see. This was one of the cheaper hotels in Boulogne but still cost a lot for what we got. On the upside the hotel staff (when we saw them) tried to be very helpful but spoke little English - I know this is our fault travelling to France and not knowing the language - I didn't expect them to speak English I just mean they couldn't help a great deal when we had a language barrier.
