This was our first time at this hotel and it was lovely. Good size room which were clean and well looked after, we had front rooms overlooking the seafront. We used the pool which was nice an added extra to our stay. William at reception we found very helpful and pleasant, made us feel welcome and he was approachable. Parking... More

On every one of the previous 3 or 4 occasions we stayed in this hotel, mainly off-season, it was at least a 4 star experience. The mini-suite which we’d book was always spotless and well-appointed with fine furniture and a wonderfully comfortable imperial-sized bed, the staff friendly and enthusiastic, the evening meal – the objective of our visit – while... A very good central location and parking spaces can be booked (but remember to turn left out of the parking areas). A little on the expensive side for extras but whilst I never like paying 15 euros for breakfast it probably was one of the best I have had in France. Staff usually quite attentive and the rooms are well... More

We stayed here one night on a family break. We booked a standard double room, and our 7 year old roughed it on the floor; there was lots of space in the room. The staff were very friendly. They supplied us with a plug adapter for my laptop, which I had forgotten to pack, and had some swimming costumes to... More

Stayed here for second time last weekend. We cannot fault this hotel, staff VERY friendly and helpful. The decor of hotel is iggledipigglede, and charming, so French! ( go Best Western if you want complicity). Yes the pool may not be Olympic size, but well enough to chill and have gentle exercise, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and gym was more... More

We stayed two separate nights at the beginning and end of a tour of Northern France. The first night we were with a group that I was leading and we dined in their private room on a spectacular and lavish menu degustation. The second night, I was alone with my husband. The rooms are a decent size - possibly a... More

I have always liked Boulogne and the surrounding country and we used to go to the Matelotte about once a year. This was 20 years ago before they added the hotel. The restaurant has always been good. We returned in March, with friends, and the restaurant was as good as we remembered it. It deserves its Michelin star and that's... More

Boulogne may not be the best place for a long visit but a couple of days is just fine especially at this Hotel. Cosy, welcoming and friendly. The room was a nice size with all niceties one would expect. Parking available too and the location on the seafront just about 10 - 15 mins walk into town. The Hotel restaurant... More

.Discovered almost 20 years ago first of all as just a "Five Star" restaurant serving the most beautiful food you could treat yourself to! Now for some years offering accommodation with the same Michelin-starred restaurant! Situated just up from the Nausicas centre and only a short walk from the town and beach. Rooms are very well appointed, clean and come... More

Stayed for 1 night. I think 2 nights would be enough to remove some of the 'charm'. Safe didn't work Dressing gown provided. No iron. You can drink the french water or bring own bottle water. Bottle water for 50cl is 3e. In the pool you could only do 5 breast strokes per length. Its about 5m by 4m. Only... More
