The hotel is situated 5 minutes walk from many small restaurants and just across the road from the cathedral. If you pay about 7 euros it has secure parking which was great for us as we had a car full of wine, but access to the car park is very tight if you have a larger car.The hotel is just a... more

This hotel has a more charming location then the other Ibis hotel in town. It's clean, the front desk staff is remarkably friendly and efficient to French standards. The old town is close by. There is some street parking, and the hotel also offers a secluded car park behind the building. The breakfast is extra, and decent for the rate... more

We stayed at this Ibis hotel during a weekend and found it to be good value. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist. All the other staff we met were equally agreeable. The breakfast is really excellent. There is secure parking (charged for). The room was clean and comfortable. No tea and coffee making facilities, so bring... more

Well decorated and staff welcoming and helpful. Very clean. Private parking - garage door difficult to access from the main road. If you are staying there, insist on a room overlooking the courtyard as no air conditioning in the bedrooms and if it is hot and you keep the window open through the night you will have great difficulty sleeping... more

Our two day stay at the Ibis was as pleasurable as our earlier visit in May 2007. Our balconied room, with a view of the impressive Basilique, was as good as it gets. The king-size double bed in a reasonable sized room, adaquate clothes hanging space and clean bathroom were a bonus. We had to turn the heating up in... more

Really nothing special, like a Travelodge or Travel Inn, just a place for the night, food was rubbish, but good for just 1 night! more

Top of the hill opposite the walled town and cathedral so have to agree with previous reviews – best views in town! Good parking especially if you pay the extra 7.50 for very secure if tight car park Small basic rooms with soap, towels and shampoo. Take your own hair dryer if it is important (we found British socket under... more

This hotel is really good for the price. The rooms are small but clean and modern, the staff are helpful and the location is excellent, directly across the road from the old town and restaurants. We've stayed more than once and would stay again. more

Before travelling to Boulogne, i had read all reviews regarding this hotel and was pretty concerned. However upon arriving, we were greeted with a smile and checked in. Our rooms were very clean and tidy, we also had a great view of the Cathedral from our bedroom. The bathrooms we small but still clean. There was a little traffic noise... more

Stayed at this hotel for just one night in May 07. The hotel is in a really great position directly opposite the old town which is great for restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but clean with a great bathroom and a powerful shower. The view from our room was of the cathedral which was... more
