The hotel overlooks the main square in Arras and is perfect for visiting the battlefields. THe rooms are clean and tidy but it is a bit faded despite us being told it had recently had a facelift. Breakfast is typical of the area and perfectly adequate and it is all very reasonably priced at €98 for two a night including... More

This hotel is clean, comfortable and not overpriced. For me it has two advantages; one it overlooks the Grand Place, one of the finest squares in northern Europe. Hard to believe it was shelled to ruins in 1917. And two it is only 20 yards from one of my favourite restaurants. Yes it is a little past its best but... More

I stayed here with friends while visiting the battlefields of Arras, Loos and Vimy Ridge. The hotel is directly on one of the main squares with lots of restaurants and bars close by. It is rather quirky and could do with a bit of an upgrade, but we found it a nice place to stay, with decent rooms, friendly staff... More

A characterful building in a perfect location for the city, a bit run down in the old French tradition, but clean enough. Room basic but good - family rooms in particular are a bargain to English eyes, used to paying per person. Breakfast worth having. Park in the underground car park, or round the corner.

We stayed for one night only. Basic old fashioned hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were exceptionally clean and provided everything we needed, comfortable bed, nice bathroom facilities, there is a lift which helps getting bags to the room. Very good for this class of hotel, good value. Location couldn't be better right in the central square and... More

The hotel and their breakfast was basic but good value in the heart of Arras. The room was well appointed and comfortable - we enjoyed our stay. Parking is possible in the Grand Place after 7 pm but cars must be paid for after 9am. Plenty of good local restaurants in the city centre.

This must be at least the fifth time we have stayed at this hotel on a battlefield tour of the Western Front. The hotel is very reasonably priced (single occupancy of a double-bedded room with breakfast for four nights cost 350 Euros). The rooms are small but comfortable with small en suite and a TV plus free Wi-Fi. The breakfast... More

Stayed here for three nights no complaints. Room service was good we ordered coffee on two occasions and it was better than any of the local cafes. We were able to park our motorbike in the underground car park near the hotel.

Great situation for seeing the city. We were warmly welcomed by madam and given a room at the back of the property which had a view of an alleyway and was rather small. I asked if we could change and we ended up in a family room overlooking the square - fantastic! We only paid a few euros more for... More

We have stayed at this hotel many times in the last few years and don't hesitate to recommend it. The location is spectacular; it is excellent value for money especially if you are travelling with a family and require a family room and the breakfast is lovely. The owner is very welcoming and there are good places to dine very... More
